Sushi Q7 Jessup Laurel — Restaurant in Maryland

Today I went to pick up my food, and at that time I was in a little rush so I asked to one of the waitress if it was possible for me to sit there to eat. The waiter nicely agree so I sit down. it happened like 2-3 minutes and another waiter with an attitude came to me tell me that I could not sit down there. even though, the other waiter told me that I could sit down. As a mention before I was in a little rush so I stoop up didn't say anything back and went to my car. While, I was driving I realized I didn't get the white dressing from the restaurant. and I really like that sauce, so I wasn't to far from the restaurant and I drove back to the place. Again, I ask to the one waiter that first allow me to sit there and she was ok with giving me one side of sauce. and this other waiter came to me and try to charged me, while this other waiter was giving it to me for free. I confront her, telling her that it wasn't justify for her to charge me I told her it was stupid to charged me when I always go there and order my food it always comes at least with 2 sides of the white dressing/sauce. she gave me an attitude and she was forcing me to pay for it. I’m a regular at this restaurant and have always been impressed with their food, especially their red dragon and lover rolls. The quality and freshness of the food are consistently great, and the service is usually prompt and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean and conveniently located.

However, our last visit was a complete letdown. The service was subpar and, frankly, unacceptable. Our server never checked on us after we received our food, and the table remained untouched for a significant amount of time after we finished our meal. No one brought the check, refilled our drinks, or even came to check on us. We had to push the button at the table multiple times before a server finally arrived to give us the check.

To make matters worse, I had a gift card, but the server took it without bothering to redeem it. I had to wait for our original server to come by and inform me of the difference owed. I paid the check and left feeling deeply disappointed. I expect more from a place that I frequent and recommend to others. I hope the owner sees this review and takes the necessary steps to improve the service and...

Don’t mind the food as it is good, but the carry out service is subpar. When people patronize your establishment whether they are dining in or ordering out, treat them with the same level of respect. I approached the counter today and stated I was order 53 and told to wait a few…no big deal. The order comes up, I didn’t think to look at the tab thinking I would be informed that order 53 was ready…Didn’t happen. Waited a minute or so and a waitress came out and asked what I needed…Bit irritated by then and I pointed to the bag and stated that it was mine…She proceeds to ring up the order and I proceed to give her my card. Instead of taking the card, she nonverbally directs me to insert the card and pay. I wanted to tell them to keep the food but decided it was better to move along and not give them any future service.
