Came here for early dinner food was great however customer service was horrible. Lady at the front register was very rude and unprofessional. Said we could not order a smoothie because she was the only one working (which was fine). As we were eating, another employee came in and took over the register. I then went back up and asked if we could order a smoothie now since there was more help. She proceeded to ask the other worker if that was okay. The lady threw her hands and the air and yelled “no I’m tired I can’t make a smoothie right now” I was very surprised that this is how they would answer a paying customer. I asked for the manager/ owner and the same employee stated that she was the manager (even more shocking) and that she was sick and did not feel up to making a smoothie. I asked why she was at work around customer’s food if she was sick and she started yelling. My husband then asked her to lower her tone and she continued to yell things. We no longer felt comfortable in this establishment so we grabbed to go boxes and started to box our food when she came over to the table handed our money back and demanded we leave our half eaten food at the table … we did not ask for the refund therefore continued to box our food. She tried to grab my husbands plate from his hands.. very rude and unprofessional. Never will we return to this establishment and we will be filing a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and with the Better...
Read moreI was there with a group yesterday, and had asked whether a dish was deep fried or stir fried. The lady behind the counter answered my question, but also added it to the order. I went on to order a dish that was NOT deep fried. When everyone had ordered she read everything back. When I heard the sesame chicken read off I assumed that someone else in the group had ordered it. When we figured out that wasn’t the case, still at the counter, quickly asked to change the order and remove the dish. She snapped back “I repeated the order back twice”. Yes, I was in the wrong for not catching it before paying, and I was fine with accepting that it was too late to change. But the cashier’s response was unprofessional. She could have said “I’m sorry, but it’s too late to change it”, and that would have been okay. She also should have known that a customer asking a question about a particular dish is very different from a customer wanting to order that dish (so the mistake was not entirely my fault).
This was not the first time that this cashier had been unprofessional with me. The last time I was there, over a year ago was unpleasant as well.
The food itself was a mix. Some of it was quite good. The pineapple fried rice was bland, and seemed to have been over-steamed.
I used to love this place, but with the cost of dining out soaring, I can’t justify eating here or recommending it when the person taking my money thinks it’s okay to...
Read moreThe lady that works there is extremely rude and nasty. I came in to order and stood there for a few minutes without being acknowledged. No one was at the register to take my order. I know they are usually short staffed and I could see that the lady who normally takes orders was in the kitchen. So I waited patiently. She finally came out and told me "I'll be with you" coldly. No hello or anything. I chalked it up to them being busy and didn't make an issue of it. She finally comes to take my order and the phone rings. She just answers the phone and takes the order while I'm standing there. By now I was annoyed. She finished the call and said "What would you like?" She never apologized for the wait or anything. Normally I would have just left but I was on lunch break and ordering for someone else as well. I ordered the food and the total was about $14. She rudely told me that I couldn't use a card if it was less than $15. So I just grabbed a tea to add more. To top it all off the food was gross. The gravy in the shrimp and broccoli was thick and clumpy and the rice was hard. I will never visit this place again. Nasty food and...
