The atmosphere is nice. They were setting up for a birthday party so there were limited seats on one side of the restaurant. There was only one server who was also the bartender and handling the takeout food. I felt bad for her but she did a great job considering the circumstances.
The food was good and tasty. I had a combo meal: tacos, enchiladas and taquitos. Everything was tasty even the beans and rice which I hardly eat any other time. Someone mentioned authentic Mexican tacos in the reviews, and they’re right. These are not authentic tacos-but we’re still good. It came with cheese, lettuce, tomato and your choice of meat.
The taquitos came with cheese sauce of them like for nachos. I’ve never had that done before. I wish I had known or I would have asked for no cheese sauce. It wasn’t exactly bad but I would have prefer them plain or asked if I wanted cheese sauce.
By the time I got to the enchiladas I was full. The enchiladas were so good. Margaritas are on point too. I just had the house ones but they were still really good. They ran out of peach so I couldn’t taste that flavor.
Overall the experience was nice, good food, drinks and atmosphere. I can see myself going...
Read moreThis was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The only server on duty was glued to her phone and didn’t even notice me until someone from the kitchen shouted that I was waiting. When she finally took my order, she acted like she couldn’t care less. I placed two separate orders, read the slips carefully to avoid confusion, and STILL got home to find the food completely mixed up and in the wrong bags.
The food itself was an even bigger disappointment. I ordered a classic “Lomo Saltado” — somehow they managed to screw up one of the simplest Peruvian staples. Instead of sautéed steak, onions, tomatoes, and fries, I got a bland “Bistec Encebollado.” My partner ordered fried fish, but what she got was a tiny, undercooked fish that wasn’t even descaled properly. The rice and beans? Dry, flavorless, and forgettable.
Between the horrendous service, wrong orders, and bland, poorly cooked food, this place is a complete disaster. If you’re looking for authentic Hispanic food, DO NOT waste your time or money here. There are plenty of better restaurants nearby that actually care about their customers and know how to cook.
Go here only if you enjoy being ignored...
Read moreWe discovered this place on google by coincidence and had such a fantastic time after our first visit that we went back a second time in the same week. When we walked in the second time, they remembered us and our orders and offered us queso as soon as we sat down because we ordered it the first time. They also offered us the margaritas from last time and let us know they just picked up some new Don Julios that they were out of the last time. The owners are simply amazing people! The margaritas are really delicious and I'm not generally crazy about margaritas. The Las Vegas margarita is what we got. The chips and salsa are really great too. On both visits I asked for extra because it is just so good. I had the chimichanga both times and upgraded the meat to steak and it was worth every penny. We will certainly be back again. It is our new favorite restaurant in the area and hits the spot if you really want above average Mexican food. Thank you for the great service and...
