This place is awesome, however, there are a few house keeping issues that must be addressed on a regular basis.
No one from the staff went to clean the bathroom the entire time we were there and it was definitely in bad shape. Tissue everywhere, bathroom stall door that doesn’t lock, it didn’t have a cleaning schedule showing active cleaning throughout and the day. This is apart of the overall experience and it is one of the reasons I didn’t give 5 stars!
Next was the running out of marinara sauce but have an all you can eat option for mozzarella sticks and calamari! The fact that they ran out around 6pm and the restaurant didn’t close until 11pm, with a grocery store in the same plaza; definitely took away from the all you can eat experience. I have seen restaurant owners send ppl to the store to pick up quick items when they run out and this could have been done in this case. They sent out sweet chili pepper sauce for my Calamari and that definitely didn’t go together and sent out no dipping sauce at all for our mozzarella sticks. This was an inventory issue I should have never known about.
The last thing is the fact that this restaurant doesn’t honor the military and their families, however, they do have a teacher and nurses discount. We love to patron places and send other military personnel to places that honor their sacrifice and support the country’s freedom. The average person sleeps well at night because someone’s son or daughter has sacrificed their life for your freedom, the least you can do if you are offering discounts, is to include them and law enforcement in the number!
These are the only issues I experienced! The food and the amount given was Amazing, the server was friendly and patient, she just was busy, causing her to be less present for refills, empty of crab buckets, and change of those awful paper plates! ( the thinnest paper plates used for arts and craft projects are used. Please invest in a better quality of paper plates, I don’t mind paper, I just mind the hole that goes through cheap paper plates when you have sauce on your crab boil. Lol)
Other than that, the music was Amazing, the Atmosphere, Fun, and the Vibes were on point! Update The Atmosphere is a Whole Vibe, just some areas of concern...
Read moreThis is not the place you want to come for a seafood boil. This was our second time here. The first time was meh, but the service was really good and they had just opened, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt. This time our group returned and we should have just left. First, they were out of some varieties of alcohol so our cocktail options were limited. Because of that, only two of the six of us ordered drinks. The portions of appetizers were bigger than the last time, so we figured cool, they are trying to improve. Our platter of seafood was enough to feed the 10 of us that came last time, it was entirely too much food, but we said we won't complain. We ordered sauce on the side because again, the food wasn't seasoned in the boil style we selected. We had snow crab legs, so we asked for crab crackers. The waitress went to get us some, but they didn't have any, so the waitress brought us out butter knives. We then asked for metal forks to help us open the crabs. She want to check on those and guess what? They had metal butter knives, but not metal forks. Some of the seafood was cold, some was overcooked, but we couldn't order anything else because we had way too much food and couldn't get through our first platter. The first time we came, they let us take the remainder home, even though the menu says you have to pay $15 per pound for leftovers. We asked this time could we take the food and was told no. Mind you, we had the exact same waitress as last time and she remembered we could take the food home. We asked for the manager, and the same manager who was there our first time, who also remembered us, said she would call the owner and see what he says. She came back over and said the owner told her to tell us we would have to pay to take the food, or they would get the police involved. Very off-putting as the situation did not need to escalate to that. We just paid and left. Over the weekend, several of us endured some horrible stomach issues and bouts to the bathroom. Basically, we paid almost $500 for stomach aches. Now we know why the restaurant is always empty, even on a Saturday night, and we will not be giving them...
Read moreThe entire staff was late they were supposed to open by 12noon they opened by 1pm. The server said they had to clean up from the night before The bathrooms were nasty, no paper towels were available at the wash station. The manager was sitting down next to us on her ipad not doing anything (this place is ran by young people including her) every employee there went to the bathrooms while and and not one person cleaned it. I saw a Hispanic lady cleaning and moping floors on the other side of the restaurant. And when I asked for paper towels at the wash station the sweet server said there is some in the bathroom. The manager heard that remember she was sitting next to us and you would have thought she would have made her rounds and made sure everything and everyone was in order but no she sat there without a care in the world. We asked for crab crackers and we're told someone keeps stealing them so we don't have any. The one good thing I must admit is that the food is very good so cleary the only people here doing there job is the Hispanic lady and the cook. Our server was sweet as well. Everyone else was sitting on there butt's or eating food. I wonder if the owner knows this, probably not. The problem here is there was a bunch of young people running a place that they have no idea what they are doing. They need guidance ( period). I shouldn't have to wait to go in a restaurant 1hr after opening because you have to clean (strike 1) both bathrooms were so bad it should have been shut down ( strike 2) atleast 10 people were working but not doing anything including the manager (strike 3) the floors, seats were sticking and greasey at the same time (strike 4) no paper towels at the wash station and I asked for some and was told to go to the bathroom and get some (strike 5) should I go on, I probably would be here all day. I get it every place can horrible staff who don't care but someone needs too. This could be a even better place with the...
