This is my first time coming here. I've wanted to check this place out for a long time, but I finally got the chance today since I was nearby. I placed a takeout order online for a grilled chicken sandwich my way and two bourbon bacon cheeseburgers. The target pick up time was 12:36pm. By the time I drove over there and found parking, it was a couple of minutes after the target time, so I went in to see if it was ready. The place was nice and clean. There were only two other customers at the time. I told one of the workers that I was here to pick up an order and gave him my name. I saw several burgers on the grill but no order ready so I sat and waited. During this time, someone else came in and patiently waited at the register for a few minutes. There were two workers, but it took one of them some time to acknowledge him because they were having a deep discussion about what size hard drive they should get for their video game system all while preparing food extremely slow. I then realized that they didn't start on my food until I walked in and asked about it. I then watched them making the food while still talking about video game systems. They finally made the last sandwich for my order. It was a very, very thin chicken breast on the grill. It looked like it was precooked, and they were just warming it up. They placed the thin, dry chicken on the bun and wrapped it up with chicken still hanging out of the bun. I went up and asked if that was my order because the chicken didn't look right. I opened the sandwich and asked them if that's how the chicken is supposed to look in which they replied, "Yes. We flatten it." Only one tomato, one slice of cheese, and one piece of lettuce. When I took it home, it was like I was just eating bread. The chicken was definitely dry as well. I included the picture of the chicken that is advertised on their online order page for comparison. On the other hand, the bourbon burgers I got for my sons looked decent, and they said tasted good. I'm not sure if I will return. If I do, I will not get the chicken sandwich. It's also interesting that on a Friday during lunch that it wasn't busy yet service was super slow.

Usually have a good experience here. Last 2 times they have been incredibly frugal with portions on the cheese curds. The picture attached shows how many were provided for 2 people. If it's a single digit number that should be disclosed on the menu when you order. Might have to retire this location or business from our patronage. EDIT: The response was very flat. Owner I wish you the best, but a rewards program for a place I question returning to is a miss of a solution. EDIT 2: The food quality continues to decline. I encourage everyone to avoid this location. The last chance I gave then was not worth the money. Food totally inedible. EDIT 3: The food has had a drastic change in quality and returned to where it should be. I'm going to take it on faith the owner located the source of the food quality problem and corrected it as one would hope. Time will tell if the good quality can be maintained. EDIT 4: November 17 2024; my last 3 orders show this place has given up. And so have I. This location has permanently lost my business.

First time visit to Wayback Burgers around 12:45PM on a Thursday afternoon. Plenty of parking is available in the strip mall lot. Now, one thing that service personnel MUST learn to retain clientele....PUT AWAY YOUR PHONE! Believe me, when someone is more interested in their toy than they are enticing me to order, I'm happy to find other places to go so you can spend all your time with your beloved electronic device. As for the burger...nothing to write home about. I actually think it's a bit overpriced for what's received. It's easy to see why they sell doubles and triples. My single patty was dwarfed by the fluffy bun. Not to mention so much mustard and pickles that it was almost all you could taste. The shop was clean and the counterperson smiled and thanked me by name when handing me my order. If only phone-man had been as receptive I would have given a bit higher review. For now, this is one of those places that I'll keep in mind but won't go out of my way to patronize.

I recently was a customer at this establishment. This was my third and last time patronizing this establishment. I ordered a chicken BLT sandwich and fries. When the order came to my table it came with Onion Rings and my sandwich had no bacon. I went to the counter to adjust my order and I noticed a pile of bacon and fries just sitting there. I asked for some bacon and my fries. The manager on duty neglected to make this right. She asked me for my card to refund the sandwich order so that she could re-ring the sandwich again with bacon. This didn't make any sense. Why not give me the bacon free of charge for my inconvenience? Her response was, we have to account for everything. That response was unacceptable. Not to mention my fries were served cold, the small gnats flying around the drink station and the restaurant. The restrooms were also neglected. This is a poor example of a bad manager. It is my expectation that whomever is the proprietor of this establishment, make the proper adjustments needed to keep his brand in a...
