Terrible customer service won’t even suffice.
I ordered on DoorDash and they messed the order up by giving me three of the wrong items.(maybe due to in availability which I understand, HOWEVER, I received no notice or call about it) so, I called to have it corrected and I was told “we think that you do this a lot to get free food” and that I was ,quote ,a “scammer”, even though I work in customer service myself and have never called, nor complained to WaWa before.
I’m always hesitant to “complain” when my order is incorrect so I usually just leave it be. But the one time I decided to call the store is when Im insulted.
Why would I try to get free snacks that cost $5?? Then the lady who had the WORST attitude told me to come bring the order back as if I had a car…that’s WHY I chose to DoorDash that night. This event happened days ago and it still blows my mind how ignorant someone can be to someone else. Especially since I did nothing wrong.

The lady behind the counter (Customer Service Manager-Nights) kept saying “DoorDash”, knowing that it’s not a DoorDash order. So after a half hour and no more orders to be picked up other than mine, she asked me what did I get and my order number. She said “I don’t see your order. You sure you got the right store?” Told her “yes I have the right location (Milestone Pkwy)” She said “well I don’t see your order”. After a few minutes of standing there knowing she’s lying, she said “DoorDash” again. I saw the number on the order, which matched mine. I said “That’s mine.” She said “It’s not yours.” I told her “I’m not playing any games with you. Read the number out loud!” She said “515”. I said “Thank you. Read moreI'm conflicted when it comes to the star ratings. Ordering off Doordash, and having Wawa our first time since we live on the west coast and are visiting here. The food and drinks are amazingly good with great balances of meat to bread ratios. However, they always forget our smoothies. We've ordered twice and both times no smoothies, although they managed to put a straw in the bag.
We called the store to speak with a manager to let them know we enjoy the food, but was missing our drinks consistently. The employee answered the phone with just a simple, subtle, rude "hello." Asked to speak with the manager, she quickly responded, "they'll call you back." Hung up
Wow! It's such a betrayal and wish it was better customer service. Now based off that interaction, and reading several similar incidents, I won't support this Wawa anymore. I'll def try another Wawa, hoping...
