On Tuesday, September 30, at 1:00 a.m., my friends and I decided to go to Wendy’s drive-thru, excited to enjoy a meal we usually love. But what we experienced was completely unexpected, hurtful, and absolutely unacceptable. From the very first moment, the person who attended us showed a hostile attitude, with no patience or willingness to help. She seemed bothered by our presence from the start, and her tone of voice, facial expressions, and overall demeanor clearly showed she had no interest in serving us respectfully.
Even though a friend helped translate our order, there were mistakes with the food, and when we tried to correct them, the employee’s attitude did not improve. In fact, it became even colder and more distant. It was clear that our nationality and the fact that we are Latino were not welcomed. We felt discriminated against, judged, and completely uncomfortable in a place where we only wanted to enjoy a meal with friends.
I have never experienced anything like this at Wendy’s, a place I have always associated with good service and friendly staff. We left feeling sad, frustrated, and deeply disappointed. No one should have to go through this. No one should feel rejected or mistreated because of how they speak or where they come from.
It is painful to see someone representing a brand treat customers this way. People with this kind of attitude should not have a position that involves direct contact with the public. This job should be for those who love what they do, who work with passion, energy, and respect for others.
I hope this comment reaches management and the owner, because experiences like this damage Wendy’s reputation and deeply hurt customers who are just trying to enjoy a simple meal. No one else should have to feel humiliated or discriminated against while trying to enjoy something as simple...

To Wendy’s Management,
I am writing to formally report a recurring issue at your Beltsville, Maryland location concerning price discrepancies between the menu display and the prices charged at the register. This has happened multiple times during my visits, and it appears to be an ongoing practice.
Most recently, I purchased a Crispy Chicken BLT advertised at $6, but was charged $7.45 at the register. This discrepancy between the advertised price and the actual charge is misleading and constitutes false advertising under both federal and state consumer protection laws.
As a customer, I expect transparent and honest pricing. Repeated discrepancies like this can erode consumer trust and potentially violate the Lanham Act (15 U.S.C. § 1125(a)) and the Federal Trade Commission Act, both of which prohibit deceptive advertising practices. Maryland state law also prohibits such conduct and provides consumers with avenues to report and pursue action.
I urge Wendy’s corporate to investigate this location, correct the pricing discrepancies, and ensure staff are trained to uphold accurate advertising practices. If this issue continues, I will be forced to escalate my complaint to the Maryland Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division and the Federal Trade Commission.

As soon as I said hello on the speaker she had an attitude and said “are you gonna be ordering a combo today?” I said no and proceeded to tell her that I was having a taco salad. Before I could even finish my sentence she said “will that be all?!” I said yes (for the salad). She proceeds to tell me my total and I let her know that I wasn’t done ordering. To my surprise she had the audacity to say “I just AXED U If u waz done with your order why r u tryna add more things?!” Then a second person on the headset took over and silenced her. Thanks to the second person for having common sense (tall lady) reason why I’m giving one star.
