I had a mobile order. You can place orders on your phone ahead of time and pick them up. I placed the order when I got there. I waited 30 mins. My order is "SS MOBILE" because of my name, hence the SS. I wait 30 mins for them to make 2 4 for 4s and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and then hand them to someone else.
You can buy the 4 for 4s on the app still. She never announced my name and once it was ready she proceeds to give it to a black woman claiming to be door dash. However, I see the receipt on the bag, it has my name on it. I say excuse me that's my order. Fat black lady at the counter says "no it aint". I say yes I'm SS mobile. I have a mobile order, I even show her my receipt on the app. She refuses to believe it and says "we don't even have 4 for 5's anymore, They 5 for 5s now". I say that's great to hear, but it still says 4 for 4 on the app and I am showing you my receipt. Black door dash lady leaves the restaurant. I ask so what about my order, don't worry, we are making your door dash order now. I say ok, but it was a mobile order not door dash.
5 minutes later door dash lady comes back and says this ain't even the right order, by this time my order was ready. Fat black lady proceeds to hand my order to the door dash lady. Fat lady says you need to bring his order back. Black door dash lady agrees and after another 5 minutes she brings my order back. She then tries hand me a crumpled up bag I say hell no, I don't know what kind of Gonorrhea was added to the food.
Fat black lady says you should have spoke up when we called your name. I explain I showed you my receipt and I been waiting right here at the register. Other customers are getting angry and agitated now. New customer even says please don't take any more orders untill the current ones have been filled. Everyone agrees. So they stop taking orders. I say what about my order? Fat lady says what did you order again?
I explain it was 2 4 for 4s and 2 spicy chicken sandwiches. To which she replies, "we don't even have 4 for 4s no mo. They 5 for 6s. "
Anyway another 10 minutes go by and she says heres your order. I say did you get my spicy chicken sandwiches. To which she replies "did you even bother to look in the bag", like I was being ungrateful. I waited about 50 minutes for them to microwave some food.
This was a horrible experience. Employees lack reading, English comprehension and critical thinking at the 3rd grade level. I would not...
Read moreOn 5/23/24 my wife and I went to the Joppa road Wendy’s it was our 3rd Wendy’s of the night as the others were unexpectedly closed. We pulled into the drive through at around 1:35-40 and proceeded to wait our turn in line. There was 3 cars ahead, we could hear the employee over the speaker kept saying one second and thought nothing of it. 10 mins had passed and only 1 car moved to the next window with the employee saying 1 second every 2 mins it was now 11:50, the next car pulled up to order and was met with the employee saying 1 second until their order was taken at 11:55 then the next car before my own moved up to order.
The next car moved up at around 11:55 and the employee said 1 second there was at least 6 car behind waiting at this point it has beeen 20-25 min in the drive through. At 12am the next car ordered their food and it was our turn.
We weren’t greeted and were just told 1 second. 5 min go by and the employee on the speaker then said “we are taking DoorDash orders only”. I was pissed off and said “that’s ridiculous why’d you take that last car order and didn’t tell them the same”. The employee then responded “well too bad we are working hard so I don’t care” I asked for her name “she didn’t respond then replied “no one is scared of you now go”.
This employee strategically made people wait until a certain time so they wouldn’t have to make or help non door dash customers. This employee was rude and nasty. I’ve never written a review nor taken anything to the next level but this will be the first. The employee was a lightskin young lady with blonde dreads. I myself work hard and needed food after a long day and not only did I have to drive to 3 different locations but to be met with such vulgar and rude service after waiting over 30 min in a drive through. That’s too far and frankly this type of employee is the reason why Wendy’s is losing millions of dollars but also not able to pay employees more for their work.
I’ll be taking this to the highest levels of Wednys headquarters and BBB. As this encounter made me understand that bad service and bad people need to be dealt with accordingly I hope this...
Read moreWent to the drive through at 10:21 am asking if we could order lunch food. For context my friend and I don’t normally go to Wendy’s so we didn’t know if it was a place that only did breakfasts in the morning, or if it was one that did breakfast as well as the rest of their menu. We thought it was a simple question, not hard to answer, didn’t really care if they did or not. However, the person taking our order was extremely rude. After she told us that they “don’t have lunch food ready yet hun” we said “okay thank you” and we’re about to drive off. She must’ve not realised we hadn’t driven away yet and forgot to turn off her mic. So we got the joy hear her start to talk poorly about us. We drove away before I could say anything. I worked in fast food, I understand how frustrating it can be when you get asked the same question over and over again. However, when a customer is polite to you, just asks you a question and doesn’t make a stink about it, should at least turn your mic off before saying stuff. Or just don’t say anything at all? Maybe she was having a bad day, I don’t know. Either way, just left a bad taste in my mouth. Not to mention is was only 9 minutes until they would have had to start serving lunch food anyway? Probably would’ve waited if this didn’t happen. Customer service is not good. Will not be going to this Wendy’s in the future. My only real message: if you’re gonna talk bad about someone at least check to make sure they pulled away first, kay?
