Anyone near Pasadena Wendy's today: STAY AWAY!!! The line is wrapped around the building for drive-thru, and on the inside they COMPLETELY ignore you until they're done with the previous order. The 2 girls in the back "cooking" are laughing and having a great time with each other, and the boys that are "cooking" are literally cooking with ONE HAND BEHIND THEIR BACKS - as slowly as they can!! I am watching people in line behind us walk out because they haven't been acknowledged yet, and have been here for 20 minutes - and I know this because I've been here for going on a half an hour now.... and JUST NOW received our food (which was to-go, and instead given to us as dine-in)... and after waiting all that time for our food, we get it and all of it is ice cold! This is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST "fast food service" I've ever had in my entire life. When I ordered my kids meal and asked for an up -sized medium drink, I wasn't told that I couldn't do that until they were giving me my order... So when I finally got my drink corrected,HE TOOK MY OTHER DRINK BACK OVER THE COUNTER.... THE ONE I HAD ALREADY DRANK OUT OF....! THAT IS 100% AGAINST HEALTH CODES!!! My boyfriend watched the manager wearing gloves and grabbing things like door jambs while making the food also...! And conveniently for Wendy's, they did not give us a receipt... I am usually very careful to receive one for situations like this but my boyfriend purchased the food, and he doesn't usually care about getting a receipt...    Read moreWendy's Pasadena is the worst "fast food" restaurant in the area. They are slow and the manager is rude. Went through the drive through on a Friday. Could not understand one word the order taker "manager" was saying. I kept asking him to repeat. Finally told him all I could hear was "mbmbmbbmmbbm". He then proceeds to tell me to leave and go to Taco Bell, he was not going to serve me. I got up to the window and noticed the car in front of us left without getting their food. I asked the "manager" what his name was and that I was going to report him to corporate. He gave me his name and said go ahead, He then proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't talk to the people who make my food like that. Excuse me????? Did you just tell me that you do something to the food of people you don't like???? I was a customer service manager and would never treat a customer like that. Apparently, he told the people in front of us to do the same as they were in front of us at Taco Bell. Thank you to the people in the black Ford SUV for paying for our meal. I am sorry you had the same horrible experience. Oh, and by the way, the people at Taco Bell were very nice and said thank you to Wendy's for sending customers to them. It's bad enough that Wendy's is way more expensive than their competitors, but to rudely tell customers to go elsewhere is just unforgivable. As this particular Wendy's is never busy, I can only assume this happens more often than not. Congratulations, Wendy's. You lost at least one customer. We will NEVER go to any Wendy's again.    Read more**Update, food is still not better. Went there 3 weeks after their reopening and the outside is very nice. It seems like the cooking areas are still the same? I could only see from the window. The price was stupid high for COLD food. There were 5 cars in front of me. The burgers were cold and the fries tasted old. The nuggets were not warm either. Just really disappointed in this place.
I was so disgusted by this place. I hardly every go to Wendy's and now I know why. We waited for 24 minutes in the drive through at 9:30pm. There were cars lined up from the window to the speaker and no one was moving. We assumed the food would be hot and fresh at least!! We were wrong. We got half done soggy fries and I will never understand why so much mayonnaise is required on their food? Even when you ask for little they glob it on. The burgers were still pink inside, one looked raw and my god, the buns are always cold. How are you supposed to eat a warm (not hot) burger with a cold bun.
