Wendy's — Restaurant in Maryland

My wife and I visited this location last Monday for lunch. On our previous visits to this location we found that the food was terrific and delicious. This time, we thought that we were in a place that we no longer visit...McDonald's. We ordered a small baconator, two servings of french fries, a chocolate Frosty and a fountain soda.

The food came fairly quickly but the results were very disappointing to say the least.

First off, when I went get my soft drink, a young man was at the drink machine trying to get his selection. I watched with much trepidation as he tried to het one drink after another. He had to switch so many times because the majority of the drinks were UNAVAILABLE. After he got his drink, I had the same response. I had to make nearly 10 different selections before I found one that actually worked.

My wife's chocolate Frosty was as great as it normally is. The food was another story.

The baconator was OK, but the bacon was burned to nearly black. The worst news about this visit is that our french fries were NOT hot, and NOT crispy. It seemed as though they were purchased at the nearby McDonalds and then driven the 3 miles to this Wendy's. They were NOT HOT, NOT CRISPY, and even less tasty than the last fries that I got from McDonald's approximately 5 years ago. We never visit McDonald's because their milkshake machines are ALWAYS OUT OF ORDER. We have heard many stories about their problem over the years and that is why we NEVER GO TO McDonald's.

This visit to Wendy's has now put Wendy's on our DO NOT VISIT list and we pass along the history of this visit to all of our friends and neighbors and I always recommend to my online customers to avoid Wendy's for now.

We will visit Wendy's again in the next 24 months to see if anything has improved. If not, then Wendy's will join McDonald's on our NEVER VISIT list.

Do not waste your time sending me any kind of refund or coupon's because we won't be using it for at least 18 months or so. Your HOT and CRISPY french fries were the best part of your menu until you began trucking them in from...

I would have gave 0 stars, but since you can't, they get one. DO NOT ORDER THROUGH THE APP AT THIS LOCATION! They don't pay attention to who they are giving orders to and they will not remake your food when they gave your food away and they are wrong. We ordered through the app and then we went to pick it up and they say, we don't have this order, it's not anywhere, we don't see the order or the payment. So then after going back and forth for awhile with the manager we see it says picked up. Then we're like, did you give our food away? Which would make sense as to why they don't see it in their system because they cleared it out. I've also been through this same situation trying to pick up doordash orders at this location and they also refused to remake the food. Even when doordash is trying to call them to tell them to remake it. They have extremely poor management. They need to be sure they are giving the appropriate orders out and not just giving food to whomever. Now I am going to have to go through a lot to get my refund especially with it saying its...

I don't visit Wendy's much, but unfortunately my experience here was not super great.

More unfortunate that I don't remember too many details except the feeling in which it left me. My order: 2 burgers and a small fry. After receiving the order I was a bit concerned the size of the fry appeared to be super size. I asked the gentleman at the window if there was a mistake and he assured me that I received the right size.

Forgive me for not knowing Wendy's sizes but I think they may be misunderstanding the concept of small (though I'm aware it's relative). This wasn't the main issue, but more so the gentleman's attitude to my query. Worse were that the actual fries which were pretty bad in terms of taste; it was almost as if there were re-fried before I got them.

I would visit here again(because what can you really expect from fast food coughchicfilacough?), but the next time I may just forget the fries or ask if they will make new ones (I hate doing that) for me if I...
