This particular Wendy’s must be down on it’s luck. First they could not take any orders because the system was down. Next when I went back a few days later, the double baconator was a joke. How do you convince fast food places to put lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, mustard, pickles, on this tragic thing that was just served. That started the star reduction.
A hint for anyone who prepares food in a fast food place; just before you wrap it up take a look at it. Ask yourself if it looks appetizing to eat? When it looks like brown stuff that crawled up on a bun to die, that’s not appetizing. Don’t use the excuse, “This is what the customer ordered?” No one orders and intentionally pays for dead stuff between two buns that looks exactly like dead stuff between two buns.
The second problem was that fries on the outside of the container were guaranteed hot and crispy. I did not find the stuff in the container to be either hot or crispy. They were only barely what a person could consider cooked. There wasn’t anything crisp anywhere in that container, but it advertised, hot and crispy. I didn’t bother to take them back to ask for a replacement. If the people working in that store had any idea how bad the food was, they would work on it.
I know there are a lot of people in the world working in fast food places, barely making enough to survive. When you serve up something that is as tragically bad as this, that customer is going to think long and hard about other choices before coming back. Consider that what you get going through a drive thru is typically about $5 to $7 less than what a person could get going in a sit down restaurant. In that place, the wait person looks at the food. If it doesn’t look appetizing, hopefully it goes back to the kitchen.
I could keep going about Wendy’s but if I do I’ll need to take away...
Read moreI was a little disappointed with the length of time it took to get to the window but, it was near closing on a Sunday night. It was at least 7 cars deep for well over an hour. I was parked in the lot while on my phone looking at the menu/offers and waiting for it to slow down before I placed my order on the app using mobile pay but they just kept coming. I check the time, and it was 20 minutes to closing now, so I figured I better put my method of payment in & get in line. 3 were ahead of me but I placed my order. I got a Burger, Cobb Salad, Chili, and Frosty with the offer of $3 off an order of $15 or more. This was a mobile pay order & I've had this happen at a different Wendy's before where I placed a mobile pay order as well & it processed my card & took my payment and when I got to the speaker, they said " We're closed". I said, well I need you to refund my card b/c I already placed a mobile order & you guys received the $$. They said they couldn't & that I had to call the customer support line & or email them & I can find that information on the app. Well, I wasn't real happy. So I did what they said & no answer for 3 days, w/ no ans. machine to leave a msg & every email I sent said failed to send. I hit send over and over and had no luck so they got me for $17. Well back to today's order, finally get to the speaker & tells me to pull around, get to the window, and out of the 4 items I got, they said they were out of the chill, didn't have any Cobb Salad left, Frosty machine was turned off & only had the burger. I thought oh no, they are gonna get me again on a $17 order but the guy thanked me for understanding and said he voided the items except the burger and I would receive the money back on my card. So we shall see. These 🤞are crossed! ✝️ ❌️ 🔀 🚸 ⚔️ 🤞 🛤I'm crossing everything!...
Read moreHad a bad experience being turned away from popeyes across the street so I decided to come over here. It was about 10:20am. Pulled into the drive thru and the lady came on and said “hold up” so I said okay and waited. She came back on and I said “I know it’s early but are you guys serving the spicy nuggets”. She replied that they don’t usually serve them until lunch but they do have them. I got excited and said okay can I please order some. And she said “no I just said we don’t serve them until lunch”. Poor phrasing on her part but I misunderstood, no biggie. I started to order something else and asked for a side of “seasonal fruit” which was listed on the menu right in front of me. She said somewhat sternly “ma’am. now what is that?” so I replied “I don’t know it’s on YOUR menu”. And she went silent for a moment and came back and said “ok”. I continued to order as she was humming a tune over the intercom, a little odd if you ask me. She asked if i was done and I said yes. She went silent so I started to slowly pull up when she began to speak my total right as I pulled away. She saw I was pulling up and loudly said “whatever”. Got to the window and sat there for a few mins until someone came. It was her talking unprofessionally to the person behind me as well. I don’t know if her tone is what was throwing me off. But she took my payment and gave me my food. I guess their “seasonal fruit” is a small bowl of mushy apples. Not impressed. But the seasoned...
