Field and Stream Tavern — Restaurant in Marysville

Alright y’all..!! So much good things to talk about this bar. I moved to Marysville about 6 months ago and didn’t know anyone. Went into Field and Stream for the first time and I was welcomed right away from the bartender Cedar . Sometimes it can be difficult coming into a small town bar. This was not the case at all. Now this is my bar I go to and bring all my friends to Field and Stream. I have met so many new friends. The owners of the bar are absolutely amazing people and you can really tell they love their bar and everyone that walks in. They have done a lot of new things to this place. They have a chef now and even a outside bar. I really do feel so comfortable and welcomed at this bar. Wolf and September are doing a fantastic job owning a bar. Wanted to check it out since new ownership, started out really nice and relaxing, from the “original” bartender that has been there a long time. Ordered a beer, and a cocktail, another couple enjoying their drinks! Well, that drastically changed when the tattooed, pierced relief bartender showed up abruptly through the front door talking at almost a yell! Not an acknowledgment to any of us paying guests, which would have earned her tips I’m sure. Instead immediately started complaining loudly to the other bartender about the new owner changing things, bitching about who does the schedule, removing the pool table, and assorted other gripes in front of paying guests! Not a good ambassador for the business, in my opinion....

Horrible place. Come to have a quick beer, but employees yelling and shoving customers. Not professional or inviting. Crowd is local. Sonya and Cedar were inviting. Food is good. The place would be a lot better if the owner just got rid of some rude and "uncalled for" aggressive employees. James W. is one that should be let go immediately. I would not recommend to anyone. There are many better options like Wood Butcher, Cortez Room, and Stassis in that immediate area. I wish I could speak to the owner to just inform him how a few of his employees make the whole...
