Dutch bros has always been apart of my weekly routine. I have been coming to the Marysville location since it opened. I have never had a bad encounter before but I recently had an experience that has made me never want to come back. I went to Dutch bros and ordered the same drink that I always do. I had a nice encounter with the guy who took my order. Once I got up to the window the lady working had a rude demeanor the second the started talking. She goes by the name Bianca. She had asked me if I wanted a straw for my drink and I said yes. After this her behavior towards me was foul. She had left the window open and was being so passive aggressive about using plastic and saving the turtles. She was making me feel awful about needing a straw. Mind you I have to have a straw for my drinks because I have sensory issues and can’t drink anything without a straw. She kept saying things like “I don’t use extra plastic that I don’t actually need” etc. It was obviously targeted towards me. I have never felt more uncomfortable at dutch bros ever. This is not the dutch bros motto. She could have at least closed the window but she was talking about it so loudly. Instead of assuming things about people she needs to ask. I would not use a straw if I didn’t have to. Several other people I have talked to have said that they’ve had a similar experience and that she is very weird towards customers. Every time I go to Dutch Bros and she is working she has the same attitude problem. People like her do not need to be working in customer service. Making people feel uncomfortable i’m sure is not the dutch bros way. I miss when Danika was working here and think this girl could use some tips from Danika. She was always so bubbly and cheerful. She also was super about saving the turtles but never made people feel awful about it. Read moreI come to this Dutch Bros often, on average 2-3 times a week regularly. I came last Saturday morning 2/15 with my son and went through the drive through. I gave my regular order to the worker outside taking orders, who repeated it back to me twice before it was finally correct. He said he was having some issues with the tablet I guess, but still remembered to ask me if I wanted to leave a tip and didn’t have any issues pulling up that on the screen so go figure. When I got up to the window I got my drink and then was handed the incorrect size for my son-a kids instead of a small. While it’ wouldn’t be a big deal for me, my son is on the spectrum and is very particular and I knew this change would not go over well with him and since I had ordered the small anyways and I assume paid for it I brought it up to see if it could be fixed. A short, heavy set Hispanic girl with glasses, who I regularly see working there in the morning time was off the to side on the tablet while this was going on. The worker at the window told me they would change it to a small, while she decided to butt in, roll her eyes and loudly say “No, if she wants a small then you better refund her and then charge her again for it.” She said that’s what the owner would say to do. It couldn’t have been more then a dollar at most difference and nothing to have such a nasty attitude about. At this point, I just wanted to get out of there, so I told them to just give me the incorrect size that was made even though I ordered and paid for something else. Read morei’ve been going to this dutch bros since they’ve opened pretty good tbh can’t lie but about a few months ago my friend had a problem with this guy with an afro we will call him sinjin because i don’t know his name. anyways so she had an incident with him and he would not give her the dang straws! even after she asked for them politely. anyways flash forward to about a month ago i really wanted dutch bros and as someone with social anxiety i try avoiding dutch (sigh) but it’s right next to the dispensary so i was like why not anyway i’m with the friend who had the incident with him before and he won’t give me my straws. so i ask firmly because he will not listen if you ask nicely lol we already tried but he gave us the straws and our drinks were made wrong but it was fine cuz he fixed it for free. flash forward to like last week and we go again in a group of four and he recognizes me and my friend and his demeanor instantly changes. he is taking our order with a little bit of an attitude (i understand big orders i work food service) and we let him know it would be a big order. we only ordered two drinks and he continued to ask if we were done ordering as if he was trying to rush when there was no one in line. anywho, he takes the orders in the backseat with a nice customer service voice. anyways idk if he’s just mad cuz i wanted my straws or he needs to work on his customer service etiquette because i’d rather go to the yc location. never had a bad experience until this guy, other than that pretty...
