I've been going here for several years and felt compelled to add a review after reading some of the negative ones. The service here is both excellent and consistent. It's always exactly the same in that the same two people are always there. The woman who handles the transactions and brings out food doesn't speak the most fluent English, but she is very nice.
Typically, you go in, order food, grab a drink, and sit down. While you're food is cooking the woman comes out to the table to give you napkins and silverware and offers you free miso soup, kimchi, and some sort of fruit (usually sliced oranges or watermelon wedges). This always comes out a couple minutes later, with your order being delivered a little after that.
The quality and quantity of food is both great. In addition to the regular menu they offer a group of daily specials (read, all day specials) that almost never changes. They include: Chicken and Brocolli with a fountain drink Cashew Chicken with a fountain drink Chicken with Gyoza or an Eggroll and fountain drink Gyoza with rice, salad, and a fountain drink

I will be adjusting my rating if I ever get back there for one of their specials, assuming it's very good. Today I ordered Kung Pow Chicken to go .. and it's like the chef has literally never had the food that he/she is preparing. It was Kung Pow soup with boiled chicken, literally overflowing out of the container. I realized I had to pull over and eat it quickly before it spilled out onto my car seat. This caused an explosion of Kung pow soup onto my work shirt making the entire experience even more tramatic.
I've eaten Kung pow chicken from perhaps 50 different restaurants and I've never seen it as a soup, it's always a fried dish. I think my biggest disappointment is that they didn't bother to mention that they could care less if it tastes or is similar too kung pow at all. How do you sell a wok item and deliver it as a soup? I am so confused, they are lucky they...
Read moreIt’s my first time there, so I go in there at 8:35pm for a takeout order. Google Maps states that they close @9pm. AS SOON AS I WALK in towards the counter, I get told that they stopped placing orders @8:30pm.. So I am 5 minutes shy (30 MINUTES UNTIL CLOSING mind you) and I and I am turned away. That woman WAS NOT friendly. And I WILL NOT be going back for simple fact of her being RUDE to Me. This is a Monday night, there is only 1 family sitting down (who already ate). It’s not like it was busy😒POOR “CUSTOMER Service” or better yet, lack there of”. If you stop taking orders 30 minutes prior to closing than you SHOULD have a sign.. Otherwise it just seems like you’re lazy & don’t want to take the order. I was going to order 1 teriyaki plate… I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the State of Washington as well.. I would give ZERO stars but that wasn’t an option,...
