I heard this was a great place so I decided to stop by. I got a handful of games that I've been wanting for a while. Although the staff were nice and the place had a great atmosphere, my experience was 50-50. I ended up getting 14 games. I got home to test the games and I got: 1 PS1 game the case fell apart as I opened it (slowly). Another PS1 game doesn't even play in either my PS1 or PS2 system. 1 PS2 case won't fully hold the games because the center tab is broken so the game shakes around. Another PS2 case won't fully close shut as well as the center tab is broken. In the end, 2/3 of the games I got were in great condition and just those 4 games I had issues with out of 14. 3 of the 4 games that had bad cases, I can easily just replace so it's not too bad. The games are priced reasonably in the "Very Good" condition compared to Ebay. I do recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. As far as the one that was not playing for me, I ended up buying a copy off of Ebay to replace it. It wouldn't be worth it to drive from where I live, just for a few dollars in return. Read more5 stars for the store and the service. I’ve been a long time customer and never had any issues until today. I recently made a fairly large purchase and in that time had some issues come up and was not able to return to the store. (Keep in mind I am 6 days out from the 30 day exchange policy) My product having never been used, purchased new, and still in packaging including plastic wrap. Was denied for an exchange. I was told since I purchased a new product from them I have to sell it back as a used item for in store credit. When I asked how much I would get I was speechless that you would offer so little for a new product purchased from your store. The woman who assisted me was polite although I don’t feel she tried her best. She was really excited about something someone was selling to your store and I think that took Her attention from the matter at hand. I wasn’t asking for my money back and I wasn’t returning my entire purchase. I was only wanting to exchange the item to something that worked better. Would I come Back to the store after this? probably not. I left with this weird feeling of we no longer care for the gamer or the long time customers. The vibe is so cool, the employees, every single one we have met, have been stellar. Never a bad experience, and we come here as often as we can.
We have even structured our family mini vacations around this arcade. We book a hotel room, come play games, sleep, come back and play more games. All the kids love it, from the well supervised three year old, to the sixteen, to the forty one year old parents. I was just in again this weekend for our vacation, just me and the kids. This time I tipped the employees, I want them happy and healthy and loving their jobs for a long, long time.
I also super appreciate the other customers. Every time we have come people have been great about taking turns, sharing and creating safety bubbles. So when you come jostling in because it sounds so cool, just remember the people next to you might have autism.
This arcade was by unanimous vote our favourite part of the vacation. Again. Winning streak three years running 🏆
