1195 Gastropub — Restaurant in Marysville

An honest review; it's brand new and working out the kinks..

-the drink menu is great, a lot of variety. Bonus that there are a lot of mocktails. -staff are very polite, welcoming and know the menu well. -whoever was in charge last night took 20% off our order due to the staggered entrees which was a courteous touch.

Some things I'd suggest revisiting: -your prices. The pricing isn't matching the quality of the food at this point; our appetizer was burnt on the outside, lukewarm on the inside. Mains came severely staggered, no fault of the servers, but not exactly conducive to a couples dining experience. Fries were cold and poorly seasoned, burger was okay. The pizza was not entirely as described, and was rather doughy in the middle when we did recieve it. Three slices of bacon as a $12 appetizer... yikes.

-the space. Cramming multiple tables in like it is right now is asking for someone to get taken out, customer or server. Maybe better utilization of the space would make it feel less like you're waiting to see someone crash.

Im not trying to knock a new business in town, but it's a small town. You can't charge what you're charging for what you're serving and expect to outlast the novelty stage of a new,...

Five Stars! A Must-Try Local Gem

I had the pleasure of dining at 1195 Gastropub, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The standout dishes of the evening were the Beef Wellington and the Candied Bacon Smash Burger—each absolutely exceeded expectations.

The Beef Wellington was a showstopper: perfectly cooked with a tender, juicy center wrapped in a beautifully crisp puff pastry. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, with just the right amount of seasoning.

The Candied Bacon Smash Burger was equally impressive—juicy, flavorful, and elevated by the sweet crunch of candied bacon. Every bite was a perfect blend of savory and sweet that hits all the right notes.

But what really topped it all off was their phenomenal Mint Lush. Creamy, refreshing, and indulgent without being too heavy—it was the perfect finish to an already unforgettable meal.

Add in the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service, and you’ve got a dining experience that’s second to none. I’ll absolutely be back—and bringing...

I placed a pickup order with plenty of time. I decided to go a few minutes early since I was on my way into work. My order was not ready and I can bet they didn’t start my order until I arrived. I received my order about 20 mins after the scheduled pickup time. I ordered the brussel sprouts and they were definitely not worth the price! The pizza I ordered was their spicy pepper pizza without any modifications. The pizza didn’t even have roasted jalapeños (dark little black pieces) on some of the slices and green peppers (not supposed to be on there, no basil, no red pepper). No spice at all! I called and let the manager Chris know and even sent him a picture upon his request. No apology and no response just made me realize I didn’t want to go back and wouldn’t recommend. This was May 3rd so they were newly opened but no excuse for the manager to not respond after he asked me to send a picture and said he would. The other staff was very nice and apologetic...
