Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Maryville

So I finally tried Chicken Salad Chick. I was quite excited because I LOVE chicken salad and according to their own boast on their menu, they have the perfect chicken salad and they have a chicken salad for every chicken salad lover. Well, I must say… Not the best. Not the average. I will be actually surprised if they stay open. Unless people just do not know good chicken salad at all. So what I had ordered was The Chick Fancy Nancy on toasted white bread and the grape salad as a side. This cost $7.99 and does not come with a drink. A fountain drink is an extra $1.99. So the Fancy Nancy chicken salad is chicken salad with Fuji apples, seedless grapes and pecans. What I got was not toasted it was grilled and as everyone knows there is a definite texture difference between grilled and toasted bread. The bread was chewy. So if that was my only disappointment it would be ok but it was not. The chicken salad did not fill the bread. I had 5 bites of nothing but bread. Every bite did not have Fuji apples, seedless grapes or pecans in it. In fact I had 2 grape halves and one square of apple. If there were nuts inside they were chopped so small I did not even notice. So you might be thinking, maybe I just got unlucky. Well, I ordered 2. Both were the same. As far as the chicken salad base, It needs work. If you are going to have chicken salad in your name you should show that you care about your specialty more than trying to get rich. Moving on to the grape salad. Whole grapes, sweet cream cheese mixture, topped with brown sugar & crushed pecans. For what it was, it it good. If you want to enhance the flavor and show you do not want your young customers to choke, cut the grapes. Sure it takes a minute longer but try it and see if you do not find %25 more flavor. To sum it all up, I was not satisfied at all and in fact, I was disappointed. As this is not the first Chicken Salad Chick I cannot say I would give it another try after the kinks...

Update.,. Even freaking worse they are ignoring allergies now! This place needs to be shut down!!!

I am from Tampa Bay Florida and I have been eating chicken salad chick from Seminole Florida and Tampa Florida for years! I always order the same thing... Two scoops of cranberry Kelly and a scoop of half spicy and half regular pimento cheese. You could always tell the pimento cheese was homemade because the cheese was shredded and The pimentos were fresh! But here I am looking at my pimento cheese that I got here in Maryville... I see more jalapenos than I see pimento I see more mayonnaise than I see cheese It literally is so loose it has seeped into my chicken salad which by the way has bacon and cheese in it which cranberry Kelly does not have bacon or cheese! I can get better pimento cheese from Bojangles... I can get better pimento cheese from Kroger and that is saying something because chicken salad chick has been my favorite for years I have never been so disappointed in my life! You can look at my Uber eats order history and see that I ate chicken salad chick at least once or twice a week for years so I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars to end up having to eat this? Canned chicken that has things in it that it shouldn't and mayonnaise with a little bit of cheese and jalapenos oh and did I forget to mention the lettuce that it's sitting...

I had a catering order that I picked up on Tuesday. I called in the order on last Thursday so there would be plenty of notice. We ordered 2 fruit trays @60$ each. Among other items which were fine. We got nothing as pictured. We got grapes and maybe 20 strawberries with dip in the middle. This was around 10$ worth of grapes from Kroger!!!! I called the catering number and I was treated with a cold response and she sent me to the local store. After being on the line for awhile he finally said hello. I explained my issue and his response was strawberries are not in season and they did best they could. (Didn’t think to ask me if that was ok???) No apologies for charging me 120.00 for grapes, no thank you for your business, certainly no let me make this right. I hope the other stores are better than this. Customer service has never been their strong suit in Maryville but this takes the cake. Watch what you order. Chick filet manages to have all fresh fruit. So DISAPPOINTING !!!! I SPENT $318.00 guess that isn’t enough to worry...
