Happy Garden — Restaurant in Maryville

Been here from time to time, plates are wonderful with a nice big portion of your entree and a big scoop of rice along side your choice or 2 egg rolls, 2 crab ragon or one of each. Feeds 2 people for less than $15 (drinks not included). Best of all tops 20mins wait to have your food, ive had the beef and broccoli and the schezuan beef both are my favorite but they have many more choices. Whats not to love great affordable Chinese food. Many many more orders to come, and for those who like delivery they only charge 1 dollor, unsure if there is a limit on the order total for delivery but its easy to find as it sits right next to subway right...

I order pick up. The food is great and the portions are large. Currently our favorites are the lemon chicken and the kung pao chicken with egg drop soup.

I read reviews stating that customer service isn't great. My experience with customer service has been amazing, they know who I am when I call and they know what we like to order. They don't have time for pleasantries as they are running a popular business and have other customers waiting on the phone and/or at their register. It doesn't make them rude, they are trying to take care of everyone as quickly and efficiently as possible.

I am shocked at the poor reviews here, as this is the most consistent qualoty chinese food restaurant I know. If you don't care for what you like, try another dish. For me, I love love Happy Family and LoMein. The crab Rangoon AND egg rolls are excellent. You need both. I have been many times and never had poor quality or stale food. It seems the most poor reviews come from service. You order at the counter and fill your own drinks. So the only poor service would have to be a communication gap. I truely think this little place in Maryville is better than high dollar big city...
