Agave Azul — Restaurant in Mason City

Went there for the first time. It definitely will be the last time as my boyfriend and myself LOVE Mexican restaurants but this was by far not worth going back. Went due to it being my birthday and wanted to celebrate; the service was terrible. The guy who waited on us never checked on us until we were done(which I noticed he sat around on his phone doing whatever); my boyfriend's margarita was very sour tasting, and we had to ask another worker for our bill as again if the service was better we would have had our bill in a prompt timely manner instead of sitting and waiting for it. It's just a NO for me.....and the best best part, they were dead too so service you would have thought...

Amazing food! The fresh made salsa was delicious! Queso was amazing and I am a queso snob haha. My son and I both had the Classic Burrito with chicken, Mexican rice and refried beans. The portions are huge and I was able to take half home for lunch tomorrow and still get filled up but not be overstuffed. Prices are very reasonable especially for the portions you get. Service was 1 out of 10. Took hour and half to get our food. Brought the appetizer at same time as main meal and we're missing a whole order to boot. We watched the server drop the tortilla shells on the floor, pick them up....put them on the plate and continue to bring them to our table. The manager? Did give us our drinks for free. The food was good flavor wise. Not real sure if I'll be back to this...
