If staying in Mason City, you might want to consider the Decker B & B, A 1908 restored stately home that is truly a pleasure to stay at. The owner, Sally is wonderful. She is there every morning and along with another assistant prepares a delicious breakfast.||||There is lots of seating and great for large groups. Evening events like wedding rehearsal dinners or other larger functions will find the Decker very accommodating. There is a very large room on the lower level with a handicap entrance and the 3rd level suite is the entire floor. Perfect for a honeymoon night. We were told that the Clinton's stayed in this room at one time.||||The basement level has a nicely stocked bar (the room is amazing) and it is on the honor system. Select your beverage, look at the price list and leave your money in the jar.||||The entire building has central air, smart TV';s in each room and everything is VERY clean. The Decker House is on the National Register of Historic Places, but unlike most such houses you actually get to stay there! It was restored by a private foundation in a way that no normal business owner could afford, so it is in unbelievably beautiful condition.
