Hardee’s — Restaurant in Mason City

I was about to order a normal burger but the lady said she can't attend to me because I'm black and she was only serving breakfast. What she said didn't affect me but the fact that she gave another person the same burger, I was about to order hurt me. Don't get me wrong, I don't care about the race stuff. Her decision and stupidity about the food was like that of a child. I wonder what kind of people Hardee's hire nowadays. There is a kind of professionalism (hospitality), you give someone and you keep personal issues away. I would give a 0.1 star if that was available. We are local to this Hardee's and have eaten here many times. It is by far our favorite breakfast fast food. As a usual drive-thru customer, we went in for breakfast last weekend before some back to school shopping. The woman working the front counter, I believe her name was Esmer, was absolutely incredible. Her kind and joyful demeanor alone was enough to make you feel joyful, but there was just something about the way she engaged with us, and the way I saw her engage with all the other customers, that left me feeling compelled to come and leave a review. The food here is really good. I got a Super Star with Cheese Combo meal which my meal featured a Super Star with Cheese (Plain), Curly Fries (Small), and a Small Fountain Drink (Coca-Cola). The exterior looks nice and clean. However, when I’m writing this review there only open Monday-Friday 6AM- 4PM and on Saturday and Sunday 6AM- 2PM which is unfortunate but that’s one downside.
