There was a line of 4 people in front of me and at least 10 cars behind me when I arrived. There was a new girl training, but no one was watching/helping her. When I was able to get to the window to pay after 15 minutes, I gave the woman at the window $10.12 for my order, which was $8.12. She then handed me my receipt and I asked if I was going to get my change. The woman said, "Oh yeah." Then disappeared for 5 minutes. She came back to the window asked if I had given her a $10 bill. I said yes. She had clicked in the system that I had given her exact change. The manager then stepped in and said they will audit her drawer to see if she was over by $2. When I tried to say it's not worth it and to keep the $2 because there were cars upon cars packed in line behind me, the manager and now 2 other female workers were standing in the window and rudely told me that they have to audit her drawer because, "it's policy, we can't just give you money." I then stated that if they had to do that, it's fine, but I'm running late and this whole process has been slow, so they can just keep the $2. I was then rudely told, "then you won't get your change." I said fine and left.
I understand people need to be trained for jobs, but not on the Friday afternoon of Spring Break with no supervision or help. The manager also had a very rude attitude. McDonalds may be "fast food," but the line was definitely not fast and my food was cold by the time I received it. I don't plan on ever going back to...
Read moreI'm a regular at this location since it's the closest to my work, but I've had several frustrating experiences lately. Often, there’s no coffee available, and I’ve encountered rude employees at the drive-thru.
This morning was particularly disappointing. I watched two cars that arrived after me get served before I did. After being asked if I was using my rewards app, I waited for three minutes without any updates. When I finally asked if anyone was there, I received no response. I kept saying "hello" because I felt like they might have forgotten about me. Eventually, I got a curt reply: "You've gotta give me a minute."
I responded, "I don't have to wait for this." I matched their tone and decided that I would no longer be visiting this location because the customer service keeps getting worse. When I go through a fast-food drive-thru, I expect it to be quick, especially for just a coffee order.
I ended up going to another McDonald's, where I was helped immediately. Everything was fresh and great. I will definitely be leaving them a...
Read moreHonestly worst experience ever, when I got there the guy at the window was very rude, ignoring the fact I ordered a meal and even had said what drink I wanted. He didn't even read back my order to me. As I get up to the second window, the manager practically throws the bag at me and says "there you go" and slams the door. I wait and tell her I ordered a meal and she gave me a free pop, again saying "there you go" and slamming the door. I wait there longer and ask to see if I can get the fry I wanted with my meal also and she says "well you already had 2 fries" like what? I wanted 3. And then she tells me I have to pay for them if I want them even though I was getting the worst service in the world from both windows, and she never even apologized for the mix up or...
