I spent Thanksgiving with my in-laws and found this nice coffee shop down the street. The layout is a little awkward because it's in an old building, but I think they did the best with the space they were given. There are plenty of booths, chairs, and high tops available for seating. Suitable for both solo visits and group meet-ups. The interior is aesthetically pleasing--dark walls and sleek with plants all around. We got a blackberry latté with half flavoring and whole milk. That was pretty decent. The barista was very attentive and made sure I knew that the blackberry latté would be made with regular beans plus blackberry syrup while their blackberry cold brew that was being featured was made with blackberry flavored beans. I normally order a cortado but I'm glad I didn't because the plain cold brew we got was not good. It had too much bite and I also got a mouth full of grounds. Cold brews are supposed to be smooth because the cold water extracts less acid over an extended period of time. I'm not sure if any corners were cut but that's what it tasted like. After reviewing their bags for sale it looks like they specialize in flavored coffees which is fine, but more often than not they focus more on the novelty than the actual process. With that being said, because my in-laws live here we will definitely be back. We will just skip the cold brew next time.

Hi, I’m amos bergen, and this is my lovely best friend (she also happens to be my girlfriend)!!!!! She’s the most awesomest coolest amazingest person in the world! She likes houses with lots of windows and sunshine and this place is perfect! We love coming to this place and getting coffee and scones while we “study” in the morning! (Study is in quotes because what we really do is make googly eyes at each other over our laptops or books! It’s really cute seeing her bite her pencil in concentration!) It’s a pretty nice cute and cozy coffee shop! Great for dates! That’s her pidgeon on her shoulder which she so creatively named Bird! A couple things to add: 1st: this review is making her very embarrassed and I would really appreciate if we could get as many people as possible to either comment or come say hi at the coffee shop. We are usually there Saturday from 9-12. 2nd: the latte with three shots of vanilla is 👌

Love this local gem!! Corner coffee house and cafe in the heart of downtown Mason City. The barista is very knowledgeable and they offer more than just coffee : scones, cookies, ice cream, cheesecake, smoothies... just to name a few. M Perfect place to meet friends, study, work meeting, etc. Right next door is an amazing store where you can find something for anyone. And also attached is a paint-your-own-pottery area so you could spend an entire afternoon here!

Stopped in on a friday after a medical appointment and a few errands ,thought why not treat myself?! Well I'm a sucker for coconut,so opted for a coconut rum scone, a slice of chocolate cheesecake for the weekend for me and my daughter to partake in and last but not least a beverage. Asked the barista for what she recommended for iced coffee for our beautiful fall weather. I don't know what is was to be honest,(something with cinnamon) I just agreed and trusted and EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious!! 👌 After my next infusion, I'm definitely going to treat myself again! It's the little things, especially local that make a difference in...
