Wok 'N Roll — Restaurant in Mason City

I ordered general tso's chicken, beef and broccoli and combo lo mein. Both of the entrees were maybe maybe 2/3 full. I had not eaten here for well over a year because they do not give you portions they charge for on the entrees. My friend told me he did not have that problem so I decided to give them another chance since I haven't ordered in a long time. I got exactly what happened to me every other time. Also, the beef and broccoli was more carrots than anything. When I order beef and broccoli I want beef and broccoli!!! The combo lo mein was supposed to have shrimp beef and pork which it did but you had to dig around to find maybe one or two pieces of each. They did however fill up the rice to the top of the container LOL. Any other Chinese restaurant that I have eaten at has always filled their containers plum full. The food was edible but I'm not giving it any more credit than that. All I can say is I Miss Hunan and wish we had some more competition around here besides China buffet. When I called to complain they did offer free food which I said never mind to because it's not going to change my satisfaction especially when it probably would have had some special sauce in it. If you want your money's worth for Chinese food, go outside of Mason City! East China on Kimball in Waterloo is your best Chinese for the money by far! I would rather drive 1 hour and 20 minutes letting it be room temperature or cold and it's still better than anything...
