Arby's — Restaurant in Mason

9/14/2025 at 3pm. Went through the drive thru and it was the most painful experience I’ve ever had in a drive thru! Ordered a roast beef and cheddar meal with large mozzarella stick/coke and another large with fries and Diet Coke. THATS IT. One car ahead of us sitting waiting for food to be brought out. Yet it took forever to place our order (had to wait to place it - actually was saying “hello” Into the speaker and almost drove away (which we should’ve) kept having to repeat it and then when we asked her to repeat it back to us to make sure it was right she didn’t) then get to the window and she still sidesteps us asking to repeat it back. She needed to ask for help from another worker to make our change (she gave us too much but we noticed after we left), and then we had to wait waaaaay too long to get our food. We started to drive away and realized she never gave us our drinks so we backed up. She just stared blankly at us and started to argue. At this point she gives us medium cups when we had said large multiple times and when she said “you were charged for mediums” and we waved our receipt showing charges for large - she started shouting at us and closed the window like we were going to assault her or something! Dirty inside, sticky floors throughout. There were several items marked unavailable on the menu (we found out some were available, but only after ordering and paying), and others not listed but informed verbally while ordering. Fountain machine was watery across the board, a large ketchup refill for the pump was left out on the counter instead of in the empty dispenser, requiring you to use packets while inside. Food was terrible! Ordered 2 smokehouse brisket sandwiches (cheddar was out so ordered with Swiss which they charged $0.50 on each and didn't mention, but this wasn't even on the sandwich, the sandwiches were much thinner than usual and comprised of mainly fat in big chunks, the crispy onions were mushy and lacking, the barbecue sauce was lathered on so thick it could be used for another 4 sandwiches, seemingly to mask the rest of the issues. The most glaring issue was an earwig that fell out of one of the sandwich foil bags!). 3 of my family members had very upset stomachs after this, causing them to be sick immediately after. Went through the drive through about 10:15 on a Sunday(they close at 11) and ordered 2 fish sandwiches, 2 mint shakes and a large curly fry. They informed me that it would be about a 5min wait for some fresh fish and asked if that would be alright. Yep. No problem. Paid at the window, good service there. They asked me to pull up while I waited on the food. No worries. Waited maybe 5 mins and the food showed up. Drive the less than half mile home to eat. Tried a fry. Terrible. They must have scraped together the last of the fries that had been sitting there for an hour. We could hardly eat them they were so hard. I called them up to let them know if they ask someone to wait for fresh fish, they might want to give them fresh fries as well. I wasn't looking for any compensation. Really just wanted to make that suggestion. Apparently that's all I was to do. I'd like to think it was a phone issue but the line went dead like...
