So I am leaving this message on 03/27-2025 which is the day of the opening day reds parade. I was traveling down by the corner of elm, race and Court Street when I my family decided to stop at this food truck to grab something to eat. I was already hesitant on even purchasing something from them but I went ahead and tried to grab 2 5$ individual slices of pizza. One was for my mother, and one was for me. I was then berated and verbally attacked just for asking for a couple of extra plates. It is extremely windy today downtown where the food truck was located, and it's quite chilly. I requested the two extra plates so that way we could both cover up our food as we were walking through the crowd downtown. The owner of said truck and I am not sure what his name is literally asked me multiple times why did I need two extra plates which I really didn't even understand if I already had spent money with his business why not just be courteous and offer the plates or even just ask me to pay for them, which I would have done without question. I proceeded to try to walk away to escalate the situation because my mother and the other people with me were starting to get a little agitated with his behavior which was very inappropriate and unprofessional. He decided to then call me carrot top because I have a bright Ginger and copper orange colored curly Afro. Imagine to my surprise because I asked for two extra plastic paper plates all of a sudden now my physical appearance is being attacked. The owner could have just left it at me saying nevermind about the plates, and let me part ways or whatever. Instead he just had to call me out of my name or call me a name. I just feel everyone should know how unprofessional and possibly racist...
Read moreI’m so bummed this place didn’t work out. I was very excited to take my daughter and her friends for her birthday. We waited patiently for 1 hour!!! We were sitting next to the owner. He saw we had no food, but was busy throwing back drinks. I thought they must have had a ton of carry out orders and the pizza took a while to cook. I finally asked how much longer (the kids were starving and antsy) to find out our order ticket didn’t make it to the kitchen. 15 minutes later we ate. I told the owner what happened and he didn’t even apologize or ask how he could make things right for our party. He seemed to act like fixing it is “putting the order right in.” The pizza was not bad, nothing special. I like the sauce. Crust was not crispy like I expected from square cut pizza. Wasn’t cut in squares either which is fine. The cheese bread was good.
Overall, I’m disappointed. I won’t be going back based on how we were treated when the mistake happened. We understand mistakes happen. We just felt ignored sitting there 1 hour without any communication, then dismissed when the owner...
Read moreI cannot believe I am making this review after being a loyal customer for 20 years. I’ve been going out of my to the original in west chester since 2003. When Mason opened it was a little closer for us so it was a win! The food truck, when at the monkey bar was closest and always great. It’s the best pizza is Cincinnati. Until last night, that’s is. I ordered a large $97 carryout for our child’s birthday. Two 18” pizzas that had a no more than a tablespoon of sauce on each, and a sprinkle of cheese. These guys are KNOWN for the amazing sauce and cheesiest pizza around. It was plain terrible. Funny enough, it was overcooked, all burnt toppings on the cardboard. But… It gets a lot worse- got 25 wings and they were still raw. My teenage son noticed the pink at first after all of 7 of us had all started eating them. I was terrified we would become sick. Thankfully only one of us did, but it was bad! I’m pained to say our love for big...
