Edit to add: Katia reached out to me after this review to apologize and remedy the situation. I really appreciated the kindness and willingness to make things right. I do still stand by my review of saying that this might not be the best choice if your child has Autism or a neurodivergence, but I do think it was very kind of her to take the time to make it right. Because of this, I brought my review up from two stars to three stars. —— I know a lot of people love this place for their kids but personally it was the wrong choice for my daughter. My daughter has autism and the way she treated my daughter in the class wasn’t the greatest. My daughter came out in tears because Katia wouldn’t help her. I wasn’t allowed to sit in on the class, so I only really have my daughter’s experience to go off of and what I heard through the door as I sat outside the room. But what I heard outside the room did sound like my daughter was trying to ask for help and she refused to acknowledge her because my daughter wouldn’t address her by her name (I was told my daughter couldn’t remember her name, and wasn’t sure what to call her or what to say to get her name). After the class when Katia came out, she told me that she thought the class wasn’t right for my daughter.
