Attended the heritage festival with my children and my service dog. We received a “ticket” to receive a free scoop of ice cream from the Mason police officer and my kids were excited. Because it’s so expensive, it is not a location we frequent except special circumstances. After waiting in line for over 10 minutes because the young girl was clearly stressing out because of a very long line, she went to the back and got a man, who I assume to be the owner, to come help. When it was time for the next person in line, my children walked to the counter and before any of us could say anything he immediately told me that dogs weren’t allowed. I responded and told him that my dog is a service animal and is certified to be able to enter all locations. He asked me what I need the service dog for and what does he do, when I informed him he is an emotional support he immediately interrupted me and told me he could help me though a drive thru window but I needed to leave with the dog. His exact words were: That’s not the same thing, he’s not certified and needs to go. I have a licensed tag on his collar that states he is a service animal. Not only was he rude, cut me off before I could finish, but his body language was tense and he was clearly agitated. I felt embarrassed and disgusted in front of my children, as well as 10 other people behind us in the line. There was NO SIGN that said that dogs aren’t allowed, and I checked the website to clarify that service dogs ARE allowed!!! To be clear, I know that animals that are not trained are not allowed to be in specific locations when it is specifically stated they cannot be, and more so when food is served. He is legally certified and trained, it’s not just that he is an emotional support dog, he is trained to alert when I am having heart issues, I say he is my emotional support because he helps keep my anxiety down and my blood pressure. I am very disappointed in the visit here. I walked outside as insisted, I did allow my kids to receive their treats as they were so eager and excited to be there again. I had to wait outside the building because of someone clearly having a bad time that would not allow me to finish my sentence. I have never felt so embarrassed and sick of someone’s behaviors/actions in my entire life. He is small, does not shed and is hypoallergenic (I’m allergic to pet dander). I kept him in my arms for the entire time I was in the establishment, I did not plan to upset anyone, but in large crowded events, I have severe medical episodes that require immediate attention. I just hope that the people see this and reconsider their customer service, had he been calm and explained his concern, I could have let him know exactly what he was for. I will never return here again. This is an unfortunate situation and I hope no one ever has to experience such nastiness in an...
Read moreOh. My. Cookies. Where do I even begin? These cookies are not just cookies—they're delectable discs of pure, unfiltered joy. If happiness had a flavor, it would taste like this, but better.
The first bite? A life-altering moment. My taste buds threw a party so wild, I think my dentist got an invitation. The chocolate chips? Generous. The texture? Chewy perfection. And that aroma? I want it bottled as perfume so I can live in a constant cloud of cookie bliss.
In summary, these cookies are dangerously good. They may ruin your diet, your self-control, and possibly your social life because you won’t want to share. But oh, they're worth every crumb. Buy them. Now. You can thank me later. 🏆
And hey, reviewer before me... they have sugar in 'em! They're cookies. 🤷♀️ And we all know what they say about opinions... we won't go there... but just remember... kindness will get you a lot further in life than...
Read moreWe went a while back. It was fine, but nothing special. The ice cream seemed like generic big brand. The cookies were good, but again nothing special. The indoor outdoor set up they had was nice. The 2 stars is because it was way too expensive for what you get at least to me. We've never been back because there are just as good or better options for cheaper. I support their desire to be involved in the community, but at least when we were there, they had a thing saying a portion of every sale is donated. To me that's the same as "we could have charged less but decided you are required to donate to what we like if you want to eat here.". Idk, I just don't get it and have never even thought about this place again until we drove past...
