I really wanted to love the pizza here. I've worked with friends who have told me for years but this is the best pizza place ever. I started working in the area recently and saw it and decided to give it a try. It was good but nothing like I expected first off I love the bite size pieces. I ordered their special a large. I was kind of disappointed I couldn't change anything on it I ordered online and it wouldn't give me the option to make any additions or subtractions so I went with the original it was good but the sauce was non-existent it basically had no sauce whatsoever it was a dry pizza with a lot of ingredients which were good but the flavor was very lacking and I generally like a thicker crust I'm more above pan pizza guy but I do like a thin crust every now and then but for all the ingredients the thin crust didn't really work especially when there was no sauce on it whatsoever. Whatever sauce was on it was absorbed by the ingredients immediately so much so that the ingredients didn't even really stick to the pizza they were all just kind of on the top and when you picked up the piece they all fall off. I won't order that pizza again but it was different and I ate it it was okay The sandwiches however were really good I ordered a full meatball hoagie and that was a big sandwich very tasty. Again could have used a lot more sauce. The atmosphere is really nice it seemed like a really good place although I ordered food to go The staff was very friendly and quick to serve I would try them again but whatever I ordered I would definitely order with extra sauce and maybe some on the side to dip I've never had such a dry pizza in my life and I don't want another one but as I'm working in the area I'll probably try them again I just won't get that pizza or if I do I'll come in and order it where I can make changes probably removing the onions and adding maybe banana peppers or something but definitely...
Read moreMarions is a family restaurant, you can have great birthday parties there, the 60 ounce pitchers of pop fill 5-7 glasses and there are 36 pieces of pizza in one large, perfect for groups. Gratuity is included in the prices, you do not have to clean up your table, there are bussers for that, you can just leave everything on the table. There are two lines one for food and one for drinks ONLY because young kids work there (it is a pizza place, think first job type kids would work there before/ while going to school) there's BEER at the BAR area only to be served by the workers that are of legal age (21) that is why there has to be 2 seperate counters. The salad is all hand chopped every morning, the salad dressing is not hand made, but I'm not sure what brand it is offhand. The pizza doughs are made by Marions also. I particularly like the spaghetti and meatball dinner where you get a salad and a garlic bread. They also have a lunch special M-F 11am-3pm which is buy one half of a small pizza with 2 toppings get a free 24oz drink for only 4.99 every topping after that will be I believe 39¢ add a salad for $1.20 :) and by the way 24 oz of pop the large, is the same as 2 cans of pop, if you think you want more than two cans of pop while you are eating then just buy a pitcher for $4.26 after tax You're welcome :) Also the pizza is fast only about 15 minutes to wait to...

I am told that if you ever wanted to know how restaurants operated in the 1970s, this is a perfect match. The experience starts when you enter a line to order your pizza. And then it continues when you enter a completely different line, counter, and card transaction to order your drinks. Speaking of drinks, do not expect your refills to be free. You might expect this if you bought a sealed 20 oz container from a small delivery-focused shop, but this time it accompanies a large dining room and a (employee-facing) soda fountain. From there you will sit down at a table, because the pleasantly open architecture with large dining room, skylight and decorative brick work apparently left no money for booths. You might notice a quaint arcade in the corner. After a short wait (the only thing average about the place) your pizza will be ready. It will not be brought to you - you will go to it. It will be served on a cardboard square on a plastic tray - the only reusable utensil involved in your meal. After finishing your bland pizza you will deposit your trash in one of several table-busing carts left for the convenience of patrons. You will then depart with a new found appreciation of all the things the other restaurants in the area have learned...
