Panera Bread — Restaurant in Massillon

Stopped in before closing on a Saturday night. Ordered our food and after we received our food, we saw that they gave us half sandwiches instead of full sandwiches. I went back up and had to get that taken care of with the manager. I had a bit of a problem getting that resolved. The workers were not happy to follow the manager’s instructions to make more sandwiches because it was 8:35 PM. They closed at 8:30 PM. When I asked for a spoon, one of the workers grabbed it and just tossed it on the counter in front of me. By time we got this resolved, my wife began to eat her salad and the cucumbers were rotten. They were all through the salad so there was no eating the salad. I went back up to get new salads and was told that all of the food was put away and they could not make us new salads. They could record our names and our order in a book and we could come back another day for new salads. Very little apology on their mistake. No attempt to try to make up for it and offer anything of an incentive to come back. So my wife and daughter had to go without their food. We went back the next day and ordered the same salads. We did not have to pay for them, but nothing was offered to help make up for the extreme inconvenience of the night before. Even though the manager of the previous night was on duty and was even a part of helping us out with the order the next day, she never said one word or an apology for the previous night. On top of it, the cucumbers were going rotten again. Fortunately, we learned that lesson and ordered the cucumbers on the side. We threw them away. Very unpleasant experience! i came here with a friend. she ordered a cup of soup and a bagel. Natalie, the employee who took her order, didn’t put the bagel in the toaster. i offered to go back up to the cash register/ bakery area (where the bagel should’ve been toasted) with my friends receipt to get the bagel for her. at this point, my friend and i had already gotten the rest of our food and there was a long line of people waiting to order. Natalie, the employee, was on break and was also waiting in line to order. by the time i got to the front of the line, i handed the new employee my friend’s receipt and told her that i was still waiting on my bagel. she read the receipt and saw that there was in fact a PLAIN BAGEL on the order. she put it on the toaster and i waited for it to be finished. Natalie whispered to her and said “make sure there’s a bagel on the receipt!” the new employee said “there is...” and Natalie says “oh.” ......excuse me? just because i offered to wait in line for my friend to get her bagel for her (that should’ve been already toasted and waiting for her to pick up if Natalie had put it in the toaster in the first place) doesn’t mean that i should be accused of trying to steal a bagel? rude employee and the baguettes weren’t as big as usual. i used to love this location but i won’t be...

Well three years ago when I worked here, I wore lipstick mind you and annicka the tall blonde general manager would walk past and say lipstick with the other manager who followed suit. She brunette ended up leaving to work at jerzees (don't blame her) but was really nice...annicka walked by again and this time said ugly. So there is unwanted nor needed harrassment from her. She also said it oh I see that tattoo through your shirt. Again, harrassment in the way she said it. All of the employees look completely uncomfortable when I walk to the register and order. I felt bad for Micah who looked like he was gonna have a heart attack. I was recently there on Saturday 3-23-19. My mom and I use to eat here all the time and now it's just completely uncomfortable and resentful experience. They make the employees always "doing something" acting like they are "busy". Wow for minimum wage that is asking a lot! Good food but just feel bad for the horrible management and employees that have to put up with it for minimum wage. I was going to go to corporate and complain of annicka later but said screw it anyhow.. Now it's hard to...
