Agavero Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Massillon

Absolutely the best Mexican Restaurant and me and my family’s favorite Mexican around! The Agavero staff is always very welcoming and friendly and always very very very fast. The nice young girl that works at the cash register is especially the best! We always order Agavero at least 2 times every month. The tacos simply with beef and cheese is my absolute favorite and the cheese enchiladas are also very filling and delicious. I would definitely recommend Agavero Bar And Grill for when you would like some authentic and very tasty Mexican food. The only reason I put service at a 4 is because sometimes the ladies that pick up the phone for take out orders don’t know how to speak English well and it is frustrating at times when you are trying to explain your order. One thing that I also love is how fast they are, when you get takeout you order and it is done like 10 minutes before you even get there. If you go inside and sit down in eat you get your chips and then the next minute they bring out your food. Excellent job on that. We also recently ordered a big order for a mini birthday party/celebration and it was the perfect way to celebrate. Service was great. Everyone there was really nice. Frozen Margheritas were ok, but a little on the weak side. The enchiladas were good. The fish tacos however will be what brings us back again and again. They were the best fish tacos I've had. The shrimp tacos, as well as the chips and salsa, were also very, very good. They had a very rude couple come in while we were there and order drinks. They almost immediately started complaining. The servers were very polite and professional and tried to make it right with the couple, but they sounded like they just wanted to complain. The customers ended up leaving without allowing the restaurant the opportunity to make it right. That in itself falls to the fault of the customer, but the restaurant. So I went in today and everything started out great and food was excellent. Then the bill came I had a $5 off a $20 food purchase. My total bill $37.63. My wife had a margarita for $4.70 my total bill before tax was $34.14 if you take minus the margarita my food total was $29.44 which well exceeds the minimum $20 to use the coupon. I was told I couldn’t use the coupon because there was an alcohol purchase on my bill. This doesn’t make sense when I purchased well over $20 of food. Then he gave me attitude and I was very polite the whole time and he basically threw my bill at me and walked away. I have a coupon book I have been using for various restaurant around town and have never had this problem. If I knew this was the rule we could have just purchased the margarita separately.
