We dine out for Easter every year. We have been to many local Easter buffets and always have an amazing experience and a nice time.
I was really shocked by the buffet here. It was a really awful experience and the servers were super friendly but it doesnt change the fact that the food was not even close to being good.
The chicken on the buffet was very undercooked. I told them snd they took it away to cook it longer. Then, the noodles were almost empty when we got there and they were crunchy like they weren't even cooked. I asked man filling the food about them and he said he didnt think they were going to be refilled and didnt even aeem to care that they were crunchy.
The mashed potatoes were so thick you couldn't even get them off the spoon. They had Salisbury steak which basically equated to the frozen box meal kind. The price of this buffet was the same that we have paid at other local higher priced establishments and the quality was far below those.
Ive went back and forth about leaving a review as I do not like to leave negative reviews, especially for small local businesses which we try to support.
The waitstaff was friendly which was the one highlight of the entire experience. The table was very sticky. The solution for everything was 25% off of one of our meals out of 6 meals. One of our senior discounts for our elderly folks was not deducted but we did not realize it until after we left.
We paid over $200 and personally feel even $100 was way too much for what was there.
I have read a lot of positive reviews from folks for this establishment and wonder if perhaps they need to simply reconsider taking on the task of providing a good...
Read moreWent there last night for dinner by myself, was seated in an alcove of the restaurant that seemed pretty isolated. Server was prompt to get to my table, but then seemed to focus on the larger group that sat behind me. I ordered the cod with a salad and baked potato. I also asked for cocktail sauce. The salad was a good size. When the baked potato and cod came out in a timely manner, the plate the card was on was super hot, but the cod was mediocre warm. The baked potato was very good. I did not touch the cocktail sauce because when I opened it up it was gelatinous. It wouldn't come out of the container even if I turned it upside down!
Server brought my check promptly and I got my card out and laid it on the table. As he waited on the table behind me. He walked right past my table and they ended up having to wait almost 10 minutes to get my check taken care of.
I have noticed in the past at this place that the servers tend to cater to larger parties and people who are by themselves seem cast aside. At least this has been my experience the two times that I have been here by myself.
I feel that there are better steakhouses...
Read moreI would love to tell you something good...well really much of anything at all about this restaurant. We went at 6 pm on a Saturday. Walked in and no one was at the desk to greet or anyone else waiting to be seated. A hostess came soon, asked us how many in our party and walked away. About 5 mins later she came back and others had come in to be seated at this point. She ignored us and asked them how many in their party. The lady told the hostess that we were there first. The hostess then again asked us how many in our party which was still 2! She took us to a table. She then seated the other couple across from us and then took our drink orders. We asked for water with lemon, she brought two waters one with lemon and one without and said someone will need to bring you another lemon and walked away. After the waitress came and took the other couples food order and we were ignored for another 20 mins....we left. I wish it had been different, food that was being served around looked and smelled wonderful. If you can handle terrible service the food just might be worth it, but I...
