So I came here today around 7 pm. The guy with all the knuckle tatts literally watches me drive up. Sit there for about 5 mins to order before pulling to the window where the lady informs me their headsets aren’t working. Now they had a sign that said no lattes because the machine was broken but nothing stating to pull forward. I asked for a frozen iced coffee. Can’t make it. Can I get an iced hazelnut coffee? I’m pregnant and just wanted some coffee. I can’t drink it often and had a rough day. She says she has to brew some. No problem. Knuckle tatts comes to the window and asks if he can help me, I say oh I think she is making the iced coffee, he says it’s too much to do that for a $3 coffee. Im dumbfounded at this point because I literally HEAR the machine brewing out of sight. But for him to come and tell me basically you’re not worth us doing our job was so unprofessional.
He basically says I can offer you Gatorade, sprite. Im like I just want a coffee, from a coffee place. So I ask my son if he wants a donut.
“We don’t have any.”
I said you might as well close. “We’re not allowed to”
Ok so let me get this straight. You can’t close but you won’t make any coffee for customers because you’ve been slow and don’t want to waste product. Even after she says she’ll make it, he comes and basically says your little funky $3 drink isn’t worth us doing our jobs. This pandemic got folks doing the very most unprofessional ish I’ve ever encountered in my 35 years. and whoever hired these people needs to be replaced right along with them.
Oh and he basically says, “We’ll be open tomorrow at 5 am.” I wanted to say “Oh you want my $3 then huh?” But I really didn’t want to stoop to his level. I’m pregnant as hell and very annoyed by this entire encounter. I’ve been a regular for YEARS but they won’t have to worry about my lil funky $3 coffee again,...
Read moreORIGINAL REVIEW-This is the closest DD to our home. Every time we go there is something going on with the employees. Some employees drive away in the middle of their shift. The employees fight often and curse in front of the customers. Our orders are usually incorrect when we receive them. Today, two employees walked out so we were locked in the dining room because the employees who were left to work could not handle more than the drive thru. Another employee left as it was the end of her shift, leaving one employee. We were told that the door would be unlocked when we were ready to leave. Not saying all the employees are involved. This site is in great need of a good manager or two. We like DD and like I said it is the closest to our home. Not fair to the customers! Update, no matter what time of the day we go to this location, there never seems to be any of the OLD-FASHIONED DONUTS which is my husband's favorite and the only type he wants to buy. UPDATE we started to go to this DD again a few months a go, seems like there is a complete new staff, the service is much better, and they have had the Old Fashioned donuts. We have been going on Friday mornings to sit in and have coffee and donuts at approximately 7:15 am. The drive thru line has been very very long and the staff handles the line quickly. The line inside gets long also usually with only one counter person. I highly recommend two counter persons as while we are in the dine in section, customers have walked out. Some of the customers have gotten out of the drive thru line to come inside hoping to get faster service, but then have to walk out un-served. We are happy with this location now and thankful for the better and polite service. i originally gave one star, and am now...

We ordered online. Girlfriend ordered coffee and two bacon egg and Cheese sandwiches and a bagel. We pull up to the speaker and ask if it can be untoasted and unsliced. The man on the speaker shouts “it is.”. It was a little rude but no biggie. We pull up to the window, and the girl working hands us a bag, she was fine. The guy who called out “it is” shows up with the bagel and it’s crumpled up in the bag, and he gets way out the window with his head almost in the car and aggressively starts handing us the bag. Same thing with the drinks, might as well have put it in the cupholder for me. I said thank you, didn’t say a word back. Before we leave he’s like “got your bagel?” like he was trying to make us feel bad or something? That’s the only thing he said at the window the whole time. My girl said have a good day, to which he didn’t reply. We drive into the highway and realize one of the sandwiches are sausage instead of bacon, we checked and definitely ordered two bacon. Not hard. Almost seems on purpose. He was so rude we decided we shouldn’t even bother going back. I don’t know his name. Wish I caught it, he was the heavyset African-American man with a beard.
If you’re gonna work in a customer facing role, get over yourself. Hope he doesn’t stay there long, lost my...
