Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Matthews

You would think Krispy Kreme was the best donut shop and since I am.. or supposed to be a valued customer. However, I drove to the Matthew's location to use my rewards and I wish I could leave a recording of what the cashier had said. I asked if I could use the buy one get one or the $5 box for a dozen. He claims that the $5 dollar box is only for sundays and I continued with the buy one get one Free. So tell me why when I try to create my assorted box of donuts they didn't have anything I wanted. I asked can I get the cookies and creme donut, the New York cheesecake donut and the Dutch apple pie donut. The response I received were We dont have that, we dont have that and we ran out of that. I asked okay so do you have the cinnamon twist donut? No we don't have that i replied what do you have? but we have everything else you asked for except the Hershey cookies n creme, the New York cheesecake, the apple pie donut because we ran out but we do have cherry pie donut. I said that is fine and I'll just come inside to see what you do have. Moments after I parked. I entered the KK and there was a team member waiting to greet me. 3 in fact. The lady from the side starts to answer my question for the Hershey's donut when she puts her hand on a donut and contemplates about throwing it away because she wasn't wearing gloves. I came in a little before 9:00 a.m. on Monday April 20th 2025 to get HOT and NOW donuts. Both of their signs were still on as I placed my order for HOT and NOW. I told the lady 3 times that I wanted 1 dozen of HOT and NOW donuts. She never told me that they did not have any until after she had already ring me up and I paid for them. Then she handed me a box of COLD donuts that came from the refrigerator. The lights were still on still at this time. She never told me that they did not have any HOT donuts. I told her I did not want the COLD donuts and if I would have known I would have never ordered them. She refused to give me a refund and was very rude and disrespectful. She told me the donuts were somewhat still fresh even though they were in the refrigerator and COLD. I will never go back to this Krispy Kreme again. She could have told me the 3 different times that I told her I wanted HOT donuts that they did not have any. Instead of just been rude and ringing me up for COLD donuts without my knowledge.
