I don't like writing reviews but I can't stand it with the customer service here.
Worst Starbucks location I've been to. I always dread coming here every morning because of the horrible service but it's the only convenient location for me. Most of the staff I see when I go in are not very attentive or observant, they're always looking down, and speak and answer to customers in a very blunt and short response. I understand that they are hounded with so many orders to complete, but that's no excuse to be completely rude to customers. I work in a restaurant, I know customers get angry when their order takes awhile, but you still have to be courteous and polite to everyone even when a customer can get heated and have an attitude with you.
Also, on several visits, this location always messes up my mobile order. One time, I got a bagel with cream cheese, they tell me they don't have anymore so they give me butter, which is fine. But another time I get a bagel with cream cheese, they don't give me anything and don't tell me. On another visit, I ordered a double-smoked bacon and cheddar sandwich, which is $4.75, but they gave me a bacon and Gouda sandwich, which is $3.75. It's just one dollar, but they don't even say anything about it. Horrible customer service!
I typically order on my phone and have to pick it up inside at the counter and I hate it because you stand there and try to get one of the barista's attention to get your order when it's sitting right there, but they have their eyes down the whole time and don't want to be bothered. So, I end up standing there for five minutes or so just trying to get their attention to get my order that has been completed for, say, 10-15 minutes.
There's this one tall barista that I see in the mornings on the weekend that is especially rude. A customer asks (politely) if there were any more sugar in the raw packets because there were no more at the stand and this barista yells at her "no". Then right after that, a customer asks how long her drink would take because she had been waiting there for awhile (I know that this is annoying for the baristas because they have so many orders but it's just the way she dealt with the situation), and that same barista looks at her in the face, doesn't answer, then walks away to do whatever she was doing.
Starbucks locations with smaller staffs and drive-thru windows are five times better than this location. I used to go to the one in the town of arysley and that place was amazing. Always busy, always polite, and the orders are...

I was greeted at the door by the lady stationed to hand out the beverages - good so far. I place my order with a cheerful young man wearing a mask who had a sticker which said 'smile'.. I complimented his mask and we are still good. Now. Now I am waiting for my order.. The lady at that beverage handout counter Says the name Yvette. Now there have always been confusions with my name at Starbucks so I asked again who is the name or the drink 4, she says Yvette. I was curious and I went to check the check the cup, I merely turned it around to see what the order was in case it was my drink and if there was a confusion on the drink/name. What happened next was shocking to me because it is not how Starbucks is supposed to treat people who are paying for very expensive coffee. I walk up to the cup, and turn it slightly to see what was on the cup.. I see immediately that the order was not mine. The lady at the counter proceeds to tell me that this was for Yvette and since I am not Yvette now she has to order a brand new drink. She snatches the cup and puts it on the counter for the experienced coffee mixers to do their thing. The way that it was done was pretty shocking that a lady standing next to me said, I am sorry for what happened to you. She shared her story where she was yelled at by 1 of the Starbucks people. I left, I figured that she really takes her job seriously and I guess I am not allowed to touch or breathe inside a Starbucks store. As I was pulling out a lady who was inside asked me to roll my windows down, to apologize for what had happened this morning and it wasn't even her fault. I believe that going forward I will never enter this Starbucks again At least, in the mornings. And if I ever go at any other time and she is there I will walk out. I understand that there are rules on safety. I felt that I just spun the cup around to see if it was my order, I did not lift it, I did not lick it, I did not spit in it. I think more tact needs to be taught to this woman. Because I get better treatment getting $1 coffee...
Read moreCoffee was great, as always. The manager took care of us and I was not a big fan of his after the service. His tag read "Jonas" . My sister ordered our drinks online , 2 separate orders. The first order included 2 drinks and the second order had 1 drink(mine). Maybe the connection messed us up but it ordered my drink 3 times but the manager said they only got 2 orders. We went in to cancel the 2nd one But then they said they never received the 1st one. I understand how frustrating refunds or exchanges can be so we were not upset. Although, their manager was very jittery, like he was on a lot of caffeine himself. His hands were shaking a bunch, his movement just wasn't calm.. We felt rushed and got the vibe off of him that he was annoyed of the situation. Trust us, we dont enjoy inconveniences either. Its not like we were in there asking for free stuff. It's OK to raise your voice ,especially with these masks on these days but it got out of hands when he was yelling "you probably didn't have enough money in your account I don't know" it was a little embarrassing to be called out about your money even knowing we had it. Kind of offensive honestly. We went ahead and ordered the two other drinks since it apparently didn't go through. I paid with card , he then yelled again "IT DIDNT GO THROUGH" . After inserting it the 3rd or 4th time, it was fine. Couldve just asked me to swipe again..Fix your card reader.. We waited for our new drinks And guess what? The 1st order did go through! We just about had 6 drinks on us. What a mess. You could tell he was so annoyed he just yelled "what do you want me to do what do you want me to do?" Then just walked away. We will avoid ordering online for now on but it was too stressful dealing with the manager. I guess now he knows that there was money in the account after all. PS- neither of our lattes had whipped cream. This is a pet peeve of mine. If the picture has whipped cream then please do the same when I pay for it. The order even says "light whipped cream " for my sisters latte. If whipped cream wasn't an option to begin with then why did they even add it to the order?...
