Hawaii's first Hi Tea location is located in the food court at Queen Kaahumanu Center.
MENU: Numerous bubble drink, smoothies, freshly squeezed juices, and hot tea. They sold bento lunches at one point but no longer.
BEVERAGE: Chocolate Banana Bubble Drink My favorite flavor combo was last on the menu but I spotted it! I watched as an employee made it with a whole banana, Hershey's chocolate syrup, what looked like either water or possibly simple syrup, ice, then blended it. A way too generous amount of dark brown/black tapioca balls were added and sank to the bottom. The worker sanitarily used plastic gloves to put the fat straw in the cup (yes!) The tapioca balls shoot up the straw like Augustus Gloob did in Willy Wonka's chocolate river pipe, and did nothing for me as they have no real flavor aside from a slight plasticky taste and the consistency of waterlogged gummies. Toward the end of the drink I ended up spitting all of them out.
SERVICE: Welcoming and friendly.

I also want to say that more than half the times you order here the boba is undercooked. The best I could say is that the food is good. If you want good boba I'd recommend Made in Hope. They have way...
