From the outside, you'd never think that there's an actual working factory behind the glass door. Everything the Maui Jelly Factory sells on their website, in local stores, or that are used at some Maui hotels, are made right at their shop in Wailuku, which is situated on the bottom floor of a 2-level building to the left of Archie's restaurant. You can walk in and purchase some items, but some products such as baskets need to called in ahead of time.
MENU: Chocolates, fudge, syrups, salsa, BBQ sauces, jellies, jams, mustards, dressings, chutney, and butter.
MY FAVORITES: Garlic Peppercorn Ketchup This is absolutely delicious for what every you use ketchup with. It's thick and peppery but not spicy. I particularly love them on hot dogs and corned beef hash patties. No more plain ketchup for me!
Humpbacks These little guys are macadamia nuts covered in caramel and chocolate. Worlds better than the mass-produced versions you find in ABC Stores, Costco, and Longs Drug! They're sold individually or in classy box sets.
