Patticakes Bakery LLC — Restaurant in Maui

Patticakes seems to mostly do wholesale orders, but they do have a storefront. It's not much in terms of atmosphere, but dang they more than make up for it with their goods. We found their cheesecakes and bars at a market way the heck over in Kapalua and loved them so much, we had to go to the source. Once there, we had more options: cakes and cookies. Of course there was banana bread and macadamia nut-filled cookies. But nothing beats their lilikoi bar. You like lemon bars? This is exponentially better—thick, buttery shortbread crust, topped with a perfectly tart and sweet passion fruit topping. Hands down, the best sweet treat we ate during our stay on Maui, and we tried a ton of stuff wherever we went. Honourable mention: the cheesecake, in particular the lilikoi (unsurprising) and coconut. They are rich and thick and atop a thick shortbread crust too. If you want some awesome bakery items with a personal touch, Patti provides top notch service! I am in Ohio and wanted to surprise our grandchildren in Wailuku with a way to celebrate their Dad's birthday in Ohio via a Zoom meeting. Patticakes delivered a special basket to them with brownie pops & chocolate muffins and she even enclosed a special note I emailed to her to include with the delivery. after we sampled some of her Lemon bars in Kapalua we had to have more! but we found out the store that sold them had ran out and didn't order more; soooo we did the only thing a reasonable couple would do, we drove all the way over to the bakery in Wailuku and bought 4 pieces! the manager there (I wish I had gotten her name) was kind enough to give us a "cool bag" with ice for the trip back! what great products and OUTSTANDING service!!! we'll be back next year for...
