These people cut down 2 very old and well established Crown Flower trees at the height of the monarch season. This is the plant the monarch butterfly lays her eggs on and the only plant the caterpillars eat before they become beautiful chrysalis' and then emerge as gorgeous butterflies that add so much to nature. They seemed totally oblivious and completely uncaring to the fact that many hundreds of caterpillars died because of them doing this at this time of the year. It is incomprehensible that anyone could do this! Unless you were blind you had to see all the caterpillars that were on the trees and now are dead because of the lack of caring. From the outside, the temple is as plain as can be, but the inside, more so the altar, is pretty impressive. Below the temple seems to be used as storage.
