Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Maui

Trust me, this Starbucks location was sorely needed when Safeway opened back in the day. It also doesn't hurt that there's a high school across the street.

ATMOSPHERE: Small counter inside Safeway Maui Lani right at the main entrance. There's both a common indoor and outdoor seating area for all to use. No drive thru.

BEVERAGE: Mocha Frappuccino Perfect amount of ice and flavor.

Iced Coffee Pretty strong brew compared to my home made version. Since when do I have to mix in my own cream & sugar?

Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino Holy yum to this! Not overly sweet and oh so creamy. Tastes just like those strawberry & creme Lifesavers but as a drink.

SERVICE: The female barista was super friendly and professional.

TIP: You earn Safeway Club...

We were placed in charge of providing coffee and donuts for a family memorial service. We could get the donuts at Safeway and the coffee in the Starbucks in the Safeway store at Maui Lani. Having preordered 3 traveler boxes 48 hours ahead of time, imagine our surprise when picking up on Saturday that we were told, sorry we only have 2 boxes. Whut? I ordered it and confirmed the day before.

Why didn't anyone call us to say they could not accommodate our order?

So very disappointed. We ended up going to the Kaahumanu Center who accommodated our 3rd box....

My Son and I go shopping at Safeway you sometimes we have coffee and a snack at Starbucks, it is in Safeway and they have great coffee we be really love the idea that Starbucks is located in the store at Safeway and Target it makes it convenient for me that both stores have a cup of coffee when we are through shopping at Safeway or Target it gives us a picker upper before...
