12/24/20: The rice is off which ruins the entire taste of the sushi roll. Sadly, even the soy sauce and ginger tasted poorly. I am not a fan of fried rolls, and was in search of raw rolls but this does not seem to be the place for it either. Miso soup came out luke warm, and sent back, but still the flavor wasn't good. Sad day for sushi. 2021 Edit: I went back to give them a second chance and the sushi came through!! Very happy with the in and out tuna and the shashimi! First the positive: the the filet was very good, the rice was good but under seasoned, the shrimp were way over cooked and not seasoned, the vegi’s were all wrong. The chef was using the spatula to cut the vegi’s??? There was practically no onion, carrots and broccoli were hard; you can’t cook carrots and broccoli on a hibachi grill? The chef was very nice but truly did not have a clue how to season the food. Very little soy sauce was used only on the rice, very little butter was used and only on the rice? I pulled into the parking lot and it went down hill from there. Next door to the Goodwill drop off and a Karate dojo? What could go wrong? Uhh, Three stars maybe a bit high but the fried sushi was good and the beer was cold. Yeah,,, well the shrimp and scallops were very fishy. Please note, I'm not someone who will return a meal or make a scene and I left a 20% tip for the service. Also, I don't complain alot online or in person so this is very difficult and unusual.
