Milano’s Italian Grill — Restaurant in Maumelle

I ate here with my sister for the first time - read reviews that seemed promising. The restaurant was clean and nicely setup - the waitress was very kind and did an amazing job - My sister got the pasta combo while I of course went with Alfredo with chicken. Once the food arrived on large plates - the first thing I noticed was the chicken wasn't grilled (odd) - secondly for $18 I had a very small portion of noodles and chicken -lastly before I took a bite I added salt and pepper - then took a bite - very disappointed 😞- very bland - seem to be no garlic or butter in the Alfredo at all - I added more salt and pepper a couple more times - but I was unable to finish it - it was just not good - on the other hand my sisters Pasta combo was very good. I think the red sauces taste better - wasn't a fan of the Alfredo - last thing I noticed when leaving was the cook in the back didn't have gloves on - his hands might be clean or washed often - but I think gloves would be so much better. If I was to go again I would try something...

The best Italian Restaurant I've been too; hands down!

The atmosphere was nice, the staff were very friendly, courteous and attentive. The speed of our food was insane! Took about 5 minutes for our appetizers to get to us, then as we were finishing those, our entrees arrived!

Entree portions are very generous! My wife and I had a lot of leftovers! Their dessert selection was nice and the house-made tiramisu (pictured below) was so good! The food is very authentic!

Our waitress was on top of everything! Came back with refills before ours were empty, came and asked if there was anything else we needed, she brought over to-go containers without us having to ask! Top of the line customer service!

My daughters and I stopped in there after leaving UAMS yesterday bc I had been fasting for almost 48hrs. I ordered shrimp Alfredo and soup was my choice over salad. My soup came with a hair on the bowl and I had to stop our server to let her know. Apparently, she didn’t speak very good English so I had to point it out to her twice and it was a dark hair. She took it and brought me another one. As for the shrimp Alfredo is what very bland and the shrimp was so over cooked that I didn’t even eat the food. My daughters said their meal was not good either. We orderd two pieces of cake and had issues there bc of language barrier and they were out of one we ordered.
