Willastein Lake — Attraction in Maumelle

This is a small, family-oriented lake with a lot of picnic tables and gazebos. There is even a paved trail around the entire circumference, complete with bridges and a few docks for easy access if you like to fish. The playground and restrooms are clean enough and any propensity for crime is limited due to frequent visits by patrol cars. There is also a Memorial that is nicely maintained, kept free of any graffiti, and well worth a visit. Quaint little lake in the Maumelle area. Clean and well maintained property with restrooms on site and playground areas for children. There are also picnic areas and a nice long walking trail that goes all around and even bisects the lake great for walking, running or cycling.
