Easy place to miss - if you drive fast - but a hard place not to come back to. This is easily one of the best eataries on the west of Puerto Rico. My children had recommended it for a while but it wasn't until a couple of days ago that we tried it with some visitors from the US mainland. What I like most was my first reaction to the place: not impressed. The area is unasuming, the place is neat and cozy yet barely decorated, the atmosphere is chill, the aroma to coffee is great. Then one looks at the menu and gets the first surprise. All the dishes are superb. All of us tried something different: I tried the cubano sandwhich, my son ordered the chicken and waffles, and our visitors ordered the french toast and avena with toast. This was at 3 pm. The service was incredible and timely. The food is tasty, well-cooked, and high quality. The prices are incredibly modest. This is a place that I will come back to time and time again. I highly recommend it. Note that it is on the "marginal" off PR-2 so use Google or Apple Maps so you don't miss the entrance. Even if you do, do the U-Turn and come back, you...
Read moreUpdate 2025: we came back again because we had an excellent prior visit last year. We enjoyed ourselves and the food/drink just as much as last time. This time, we started with an iced mocha and a passion fruit juice- both great. Then a shared French toast with yummy mascarpone, fruit, granola and strawberry butter. It wasn’t too sweet which was perfect. I had the Cubano sandwich which was amazing with generous filling. My bf loved the pastrami sandwich. I can’t wait until our next visit, bc we will surely be back
Omg the coffee was amazing!! I will dream about it when I get home. I got a hot mocha and later an iced mocha to go. My boyfriend got a matcha that the barista made his recipe. Im not sure what he put in it but it tasted like vanilla pistachio ice cream. 10/10!! Food was delicious. I got the turkey and egg croissant and my bf got the Cubano. We both left very satisfied. Staff was very kind with wonderful...
Read moreFirst there is not enough parking. It is very cozy so is better to order for take out. They offered me to change a hummus wrap for a sandwich and told me that it had the same ingredients, but when I saw the sandwich it didn't had avocado. Also very uncomfortable, employees talking about what to put or not when you change a wrap to a sandwich, for example the sandwiches come with less ingredients than a wrap and with out other ingredients. Then talking about why vegans don't drink cow's milk and making assumptions about it in front of everyone. Recommendation, make your employees more efficient and better oriented about what to include in your food and what to not include and better informed about veganism, because you have a vegan menu, but your employees apparently are not...
