Staff was super nice. The wait for 4 adult orders and two children orders was 1 hour 20 minutes…on the quite slow side. Lattes were good. Mimosas were small and warm at times….not bad but not the best…10USD per mimosa. Ingredients were mixed. Churrasco was good. American cheese asked to be added on kids breakfast (scrambled eggs) order was Velveeta cheese, not real American cheese. Bread toasts (we asked for sandwich sliced bread) were saggy. Perhaps criollo bread is the way to go. The croissant appetizer was ok but croissants couldnhave been warmed a bit more, cheese melted a little more (not cold and blocky). Bacon is bacon…was cooked as expected. 200 plus tax and tip out the door for a total of 225 (tip was set at 15% and I think fair for the experience…and only two adults had 2 mimosas each…). That is an average of 37-38 USD/person (this can be a bit biased due to the mimosas). This is a very high end price point…like Isla in Rincon (where we pay the 30-40 per person without hesitation). At this price point Lotus needs to figure out how to improve wait time, food presentation (this is almost irrelevant to me but at the price point is a must), definitely real cheese is required, portions are smaller than equally priced higher end brunch joints. The place is really nice and clean and cozy, and again, staff was really nice and attentive…competition is fierce at this price point. There are many average and below average brunch joints in the area at half the price point. At this price point, the customer base will gladly drive 20-30 minutes more to the right experience. Lotus has lot of potential. They are new…I think a few months or perhaps a bit longer…best whishes. FOR REFERENCE: picture shown is the churrasco skillet…not sure it had full 10 oz of steak…~27USD.

The dining experience at Lotus Brunch was deeply disappointing. The food lacked freshness, the drinks were poorly made, the wait times were unreasonably long, and the prices were surprisingly high for such low quality. Overall, nothing on our plates was enjoyable, leaving us dissatisfied with the...
