Maynard Village Pizza — Restaurant in Maynard

I've been to this establishment twice and both have been bad experiences. The first time, I went in to order a wrap and a salad. 35 minutes later, I walked out with a bag which my mother and I brought downtown to have a picnic. We soon realized that my mother did not get chicken on her salad nor did she get her side of dressing. The second time, I ordered from the website, not from a second party, and was told our food would be ready in 20 to 30 minutes. We arrived at the establishment 40 minutes later and were told that our food would be cooked next. So I waited there until a young man walked in, not wearing a face mask, and sat at a booth, clearly annoyed that his order wasn't ready either.so I waited outside in the hall. 20 minutes later I was handed a bag. I asked if our sides of sauce and dressing were in the bag and was told they were. So we got home ready to eat dinner and found no sauce or dressing. It's really not that difficult!!! Especially during a time when so many businesses are struggling to stay open and so many individuals don't have the disposable income they used to dine out. Although this restaurant is one of the very few restaurants open in Maynard on Sundays, I will never again use that as a reason to give them...

I have been ordering here for years & years, this place use to be the top notch place to get food. I would choice here over anywhere but within the past year it has just gotten down hill. Anytime I order a sub (I always get a BLT when i order a sub) I either call in or order online. One time I have gotten a bacon sub, with 3 tomatoes & a little lettuce & missing the mayo I asked. I have gotten it once where it was burnt to a crisp & it wasn’t even enjoyable. Tonight I ordered online & got my normal sub, lettuce, extra tomato, bacon & light mayo. They added a bunch of onions to my order. If you have the order right in front of you, you shouldn’t be getting it wrong. I also use to order the fried dough babies all the time but now there is barley any powdered sugar, cininnomon or dough in there in general. Its a box of grease full of a couple fried dough bits with a sprinkle of sugar & cinnionmon. Not to mention they need to estimate or be more accurate with how long it will take to dilever. The other night I ordered with friends & they said 30mins, an hour & 15 mins til we got our food. The chefs need to be more on there game & the drivers need to not dilly dally...

We've spent a few grand on food from this place just during covid. The usual delivery people know the house and are great. When the restaurant gets it right it's wonderful. When they don't it's insanely disappointing and there is literally no apparent way to get any help or resolution. Most recently i ordered chicken fingers and roast beef delux sub. I got cold chicken nuggets and a steak and cheese with tomatoes. Calling for correction... on hold for 25m before i gave up. Contacting through FB last time there was an issue... i was told the managers would call me and they never did even though i followed up weekly for a month and a half. This time i tried thier website feedback form... no reply over a week later. I cannot continue to support them. Which sucks because again... when you they get it right it's really good. But if not... apparently once youve paid you...
