Theatre Creamery — Restaurant in Maynard

I recently went to scope out Theatre Creamery a few weeks after they opened, hoping that the crowds had died down a bit. Despite the long lines of my fellow ice cream fanatics placing their orders at the windows, the line was well spaced out, and moved incredibly fast. I'm sure the speed at which I was able to make my way to the window was due to the incredible well-trained, neat and professional staff. They even sanitized the signature capture device after every customer (a MUST during a Pandemic). The ice cream was phenomenal (I highly recommend the cleverly-named "Reese's With A Spoon" for any other peanut-butter aficionados). Great service, friendly staff! Loved the indoor and outdoor decor. Gifford's ice cream is always delicious and the prices and cup sizes were very reasonable. They had maybe 15-20 flavors which was a great selection. They also make their own fudge. Will definitely go back again (and again)! Go check it out!

PS For those of you interested, they have a very safe COVID setup in place; mask policy, window service, and hand sanitizer out front. Signs posted, staff was being very safe as well....

I'm loving this little boutique creamery. It is a welcomed business in the town of Maynard! My husband and I went over on Sunday for a Sundae and it was perfect. I don't think comparing this place to Erickson's or the like is fair. I believe there is room for both, as they offer different scenery, vibes and tastes. We're happy we can walk on over and sit on one of the many benches while enjoying some good flavours! The only thing that's missing is The Joker's...
