Spruced Goose Station: fresh eats and treats — Restaurant in McAdenville

We were greeted warmly when we walked in. The server showed us the menus so we could sit and look over them. When we asked to sit outside she came out and wiped down the table and chairs. She kindly communicated to us to just come back in to order when we were ready. She was attentive and careful to take our order correctly. I have diet restrictions and when I asked for no meat she offered alternatives. When the cook overhead she asked her not to charge me full price but a-la-cart. When I changed my mind because some of the items I was only getting because they came with the meal she was very patient in taking them off. Our food came very quickly and they included the avocado I took off for no extra charge and offered the toast in case I didn't get enough to eat. This was such a great find! We stopped by here after not finding quick service at other restaurants on a Saturday morning. It has high Google reviews and prior guests left delicious looking photos.

Spruced Goose has lots of food options, a quaint and eclectic historical vibe with seating inside, outside and extra in the back, plus awesome service with a smile. We were able to customize our breakfast plates to be meat-free, yet still tasty, even their fresh fruit!!!

They have local artisan items for sale which is perfect for out of town guests to take a piece of NC back home with them. And it's for a good cause! Holy Angels mission is making a difference in the lives of their employees and customers that receive their services.

Stopped by for lunch with our friends before heading back to PA. This restaurant has such great meanings and I’m super grateful to have located this place! The atmosphere is amazing, very charming! You order by the entrance and seat yourself type restaurant, but they do bring the food out to your table! Our friends got the coffee flight, which I originally was very excited for but a couple flavors on the flight were my favorite so I didn’t end up getting them but they did let me try.
