Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in McAlester

My job sent me to get lunch . I was a walk in order, they were under staffed. But they didn't take long, fries were hot and fresh and the burgers came out at the same time.the cooks and crew members were very kind and professional. They sent plenty of ketchup and special sauce. Lots of smiles and handshakes. What every working person needs during the holidays. I highly recommend if you are making a large order on a short notice. Everyone did great. Thanks for being kind, In a cruel world. Hope this helps get you guys a raise. I visit often because my wife and I love Ice cream, when we can treat ourselves in this heat. 7/4/2024 I was greeted by a young lady named Tabitha she remembered me and my order from a previous visit. This was the most unclean Braums I have been to. Everything was disgusting, the condiment station was filthy and had not been cleaned or attended to. All of the ice cream machines had candy and ice cream coated on them from multiple orders and not being wiped down. Out of the 8 available tables 7 were filthy and had not been wiped down.

We stood at the counter, first in line, waiting for someone to acknowledge us at 1 pm on a Friday afternoon, for literally 5 minutes. Then our cashier was rude. I had "sweet tea" that was labeled incorrectly within the tea canisters and was actually unsweet. The Dr pepper my spouse got was flat and had zero syrup in it. His burger also did not come as he specified it.

I really appreciate the folks at the Braum's locations here in McAlester because the staff have always been willing to make me a milkshake that wasn't on their menu... ☺️ Ok, well it was. However, not as I had requested it.

Get this, you make a banana split with all the fixings and then you blend it all up into a milkshake! 😋
