Was impressed with the amount served in the plates. One plate (which was the $8 plate without drink), could easily be enough for two kids and those like myself and my girls, who do not eat too much, could share. Wasn't to fond of the lemon chicken (tasted more like orange chicken) but really did enjoy the spicy vegetable chicken. Older daughter wasn't to fond of the sesame chicken but really liked the veggie and beef. Grandma loved her teriyaki chicken and my youngest, wasn't too fond of the sweet and sour chicken. Have had absolutely horrible luck with Chinese food here in McAllen. I asked several people where they would go and they all directed me towards HEB Chinese food. This is horrible! I got the teriyaki chicken, and there's no teriyaki sauce with it!! They don't even have any! She said it was marinated in teriyaki sauce but I can't taste it. That just seems odd. It's extremely dry and overcooked. The rice is dry does not lump or stick together. The service was amazing as there are like 40 people in line. I love my HEB but I would say I need to try perhaps something else in this buffet. Because the teriyaki chicken was not the thing...

I went to your location a while back and it made me so sad that we don't have you in our San Antonio HEBs anymore.
